Re: Terra, I had assumed that
since the split into Nobody and Heartless was done on Terra's body with Xehanort controlling him, he will simply return to that state. That is, Xehanort and Terra are still one.

More detailed 3 footage summary:
16:37 PM - Sora's new attacks are reminiscent of Disneyland attractions. You can also see Captain Hook's pirate ship lit up like the Electrical Parade (via @sqexgal @Master_Goof)

16:34 PM - Looks like Sora could transform the Keyblade to perform dual wielding gun attacks (via @sqexgal @usumasuku)

16:33 PM - The KH3 trailer features something that is reminiscent of Disneyland attractions. There's a train summon like the Electrical Parade, and there is a Rock Titan battle in Traverse Town (via @sqexgal @usamasuku @aibo_ac7)

I wouldn't mind KH3 taking cues from Disneyland for some of its environments. Could probably do some cool stuff with Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain, Tomorrowland, etc...

Wait a minute.. Transform into dual weilding guns... Why does that sound like its something the X-blade could do...

Gahh, so it isn't out yet?

It's coming out soon? What's happening!

I'd be amazed if they have anything substantial to hint at -- from the first E3 trailer, it looked like they haven't even started it.

The base Keyblade seems to be capable of transforming into all sorts of different weapon types, it's just that it's really only been Terra as the Lingering Sentiment that's ever showcased the ability. He did transform it into a cannon in one of his ShotLocks, though, and the BBS Trio all transformed their Blades into vehicles.

Toy Story confirmed

Now that i think about it, they mentioned the x-blade as being displayed on the stage for brief moment, which means when reporting on the scene, they would have also said sora was holding it.

Toy story please

Oh and replace atlantica with finding nemo and have ariel as a summon , you know what, forget ariel completely... Give me sebastian as a summon.

As summons or something similar, maybe. Doesn't necessarily mean there will be a Toy Story world, though it would be the first step into that direction, so KHIV might finally end up having Pixar worlds if KHIII doesn't have any. Kind of like how some summons in earlier KHs have lead to those movies having worlds in latter KH games.

Toy Story would be huge! It would mean Pixar is definitely in.

Which is a "duhhh", but seriously if you knew just a bit of how much legal work goes into those properties you'd be absolutely stunned this game is even being made. That's why I was so floored when KH3 was finally announced for reals, I thought it would be too tied up in legal crapola.

Hearing about things that went on with even Disney Infinity from friends that worked with them was nauseating... it's a tough property to mess with.

Nomura and Square hold fucking WEIGHT to be able to get Disney Properties on full display (and interfering with their characters worlds!) like this for a third straight major console game.

Well, it's not like it hasn't been a bit of a nightmare for them as well. I mean, EVERYTHING that has to do with Disney characters & worlds has to go through Disney first and Nomura even had to alter the ending of Dream Drop Distance because Disney rejected the original ending Nomura had in mind for it. They've had quite a lot of limitations during the franchises existence, i.e. I remember reading something about Disney being really iffy about Nomura using Mickey in the first Kingdom Hearts game (he would've liked to have King Mickey be a more noticeable part of KH1's story, but had to settle to whatever little he could show for a few seconds during the final cutscenes of the game). Though thanks to the success of the first game, they were able to make Mickey a much bigger part of the subsequent games. Thanks to the games being so successful, they do have a bit more leeway with what they get to do with the games, but everything is still tightly monitored by Disney.

Do you know what Nomura wanted to do during DDD's ending that was rejected ?

I swear I hate SE's silly style with closed theaters, private showcases, leaving us to rely on leaks via phones and so on for a while until they let it out on the web.
