The game looks good, but they really put now the annoying koopalings in almost every single Mario game now. Maybe they really should never listen to the fans, the fans who couldn't stop demanding them back then.

Totally didn't expect to see ALL the koopalings as new playable karters... great additions actually, though from now on we won't see many more new characters (many will likely complain about this I'm sure).

The new tracks shown looked absolutely fantastic, especially the futuristic one, and the other one in the jungle with the rideable waterwall ! I dig what they did to GBA Mario Circuit, nice twist with the part of the track that is lifted upwards, and overall looks great.

Wished we could see some little details about online, but finally a precise release date... HYPE !

One of my favourite things is how much they spruces up the old tracks, especially Mario Circuit from the SNES. I've been saying the mode 7 in 3D look has long lost its novelty so its nice they taken liberties with the background and even the layout!

Ah, but those are my favourite tracks. No gimmicks, just nonstop power sliding through tons of sharp corners.

Well look at the video. Every single time it's associated with orange flames and a louder motor noise. This was also showed in a previous trailer. It's the mushroom animation.

It's probably my favorite game from a visual standpoint so far this gen. Throw in the fact that it's likely going to be locked at 60fps, and it just makes it that much better.

I fucking love the koopalings. As a kid I wished wished wished that they'd be in the sequel to Super Mario Kart. Who would have thought that about 20 years later I'd get my wish? Very happy.

Does remind me of how badly they messed up Iggy's design, though. And Roy's shell was always pink, and should have remained pink. Why did they change them? Was it to ensure that each kid had a different coloured shell? I hate that kind of enforced symmetry.
