Edgeworth does make a lot of sense. He's basically the main character of Ace Attorney now since Capcom isn't doing anything with the main series. I also remember him being asked about on the stream after Phoenix was denied and the Capcom guy answering questions(I forget who it was) just sidestepped the question.

Yeah I believe what he said was "Phoenix Wright won't be in. As for Edgeworth, he has a new game that just came out for DS (referring to the first AAI game, as this was before AAI2 was revealed)." And just left it at that.

For diversity's sake, I hope a representative from Bionic Commando, Onimusha, Lost Planet and Monster Hunter, on top of Pheonix Wright, make it in. Was there not an Onimusha rep in TvC? And I think a Monster Hunter rep would be a plus all around for marketing too, though are there any real Monster Hunter iconic characters?

For some odd reason, I feel like Capcom will have more trouble filling up character slots with characters from unique series'. Especially females.

Gene is from a shitty game that everyone "loves". It's really just a big inside joke and God Hand is quite deserving of it's IGN score.

Glad someone else agrees. Shitty game is shitty but fanboys will argue to the death that it's not. I think IGN score was too lenient on it. Should've been a 0.5 or 1. It makes Superman 64 look like a programming marvel.
