Will be fun to see what it is.

Something that's multiplayer oriented might be cool though, like Metal Gear Battle or something where you spy against other people and they try to kill you and vice versa. The MG universe certainly has enough interesting characters for it (ie: Ninja hunting Snake and so on).

Why wouldn't be the game he was talking about in his blog?

During the Game Convention of Leipzig, mythical Hideo Kojima entrusted that he's considering a possible version PSP of cult Metal Gear Solid PlayStation version. This adaptation, if it takes place indeed, would be developed by the team of Kojima Production and would contain some additions of gameplay already seen in Metal Gear Solid 2 . Moreover Mr. Kojima once more confirmed that the series Metal Gear Solid will remain exclusive in PlayStation of Sony
BD was never a game, neo just cleared up that confusion by making this thread. And Kojima original said a MGS game would never work on a handheld when explaining why they made MGA, so this is highly likely the game he was talking about in his blog that the directors of MGA and ZoE wanted to direct. It's obvious he's doing something to make MGS more suitable in his mind for the PSP, but of course since neither of us know we shouldn't make any assumptions.SolidSnakex said:This is a Metal Gear Solid game, then there's Metal Gear BD. Now that one could possibly be the one he's talking about in his blog or something seperate. He's never mention MG BD in his blog specifically despite the name being revealed in Okamura's blog.

"Even though it’s only on PSP, it’s going to be pretty amazing. It might be too new for people. I don’t even know if they’re going to sell this thing. I mean, I find it interesting myself, though who knows what people will think of it. Really, though—it’s just a normal game. Only with one little thing radically different about it."

Hideo Kojima confirms development of new PSP entry in MGS franchise.
by Anoop Gantayat
We have a feeling that Metal Gear Acid 2 didn't perform up to expectations in Japan (unless Konami had been anticipating a debut at number 26 in the top 50 sales charts from Media Create), but that isn't stopping Kojima Productions from continuing the Metal Gear series on the PSP. This time, though, Hideo Kojima and crew are attaching the "Solid" name to the title.
In an interview featured in the latest issue of Famitsu, Kojima confirms the development of what he refers to as "a completely new Metal Gear Solid" for the PSP. This new game is not a new Metal Gear Acid, nor is it based off Metal Gear Solid B.D., a digital comic set for Japanese PSP release in Spring of 2006.
Kojima is, expectedly, shy with details on this new game, even joking that he wasn't supposed to have announced it to be a "Solid" title. Of the game, he says "it's something that can only be done on the PSP," joking that because it's so completely new, he's not sure if it will end up being released. He states, again jokingly, that his team will produce an alpha version of the title and let the interviewer sample it (yes, Japanese interviews are full of jokes).
Doing away with the jokes for a bit, Kojima states that if readers heard the game's full title, they'd know what it's all about. And he adds one more comment, sure to set speculation meters off the charts: "It's a normal game, but one area is different."
