Everything looks off. I can't for the life of me understand why all the Dante's Inferno haters aren't jumping on this cheap LBP+MK knock off.

You cant be serious?Only they thing they share is the Play, Create, Share tagline.

May 26.

Same day as Blur.

One week behind Split Second.

Never mind all the other games in other genres...

GOD DAMNIT.

Wow! They defied my expectations. I was sure it was going to get delayed to fix some of the stuff users were requesting. Guess not.

26th is good. 5 days after my birthday. But it's the same week as EVERYTHING ELSE :(

I hope we can get the codes before we pick them up so I can pre-order them at best buy & gamestop before actually ordering them on Amazon.

Here are a few-
PSP has most the great Race, Create, and Share features that PS3 has plus an exclusive mode called Last Kart Standing where an elimination time destroys the Kart in last place until there is only one left! It’s super fun! It’s also up to 6 players offline and online. PS3 has the graphic edge and supports 12 players online, 2 and 4 player split screen, even 2 player online split screen. Because of the console’s horsepower you will get better physics and deeper customization tools than the PSP, but the PSP has an incredible amount of features in there!

I like this mode in Motorstorm PR, why the fuck is it not included in the PS3 version?

EDIT: Also I'm pretty sure that Custom Soundtrack is not supported right?

I hope this one actually has good gameplay/controls to go along with the (looks to be) good editor, unlike LBP which played like crap.

I want to see a final version.

Also, Play/Create/Share is one of the best things to happen to this gen because it preserves the tradition of 4-player on-screen local multiplayer. I hate how games are removing that feature one-by-one.

And a suggestion that 4p online may come as a patch.

Also no split screen creation (I don't know how it would work anyway).
I would rather they focus on MP online and all that's being offered now.

still no word on a either a bumper cam view or ffb support?

Someone said there are a couple of camera angles and also adjustable view. This type of game doe not need a bumper cam IMO, its about seeing the carts and stuff, but the camwra in he beta needed some tweaks.

Only 4 types of weapons, (all extremely generic) and 3 generic upgradeable classes like oh, every other kart racer ever created?

I am disappoint.

Where the hell are shrink rays, ginormous fireball launchers, bee swarms that chase the player, super-legs that run ahead and carry the kart into first place, etc.

I mean there are so many creative ideas that could have been used.

Ugh.

I don't think they read Jaffe's retrospective thoughts on Calling All Cars and the simple weapon system he designed for the game. Unfortunate.

At this current rate ModRacers will end up as another Fat Princess.

:lol

I do agree. So much potential in regards to weaponry, but it's not being used.

ESRB ratings

This is a racing game in which players can create and customize their own go-karts and race against others on colorful tracks. During races, players can collect power-ups ("cartoony" missiles, bombs, electricity attacks, etc.) that can be used to slow down opponents. Racers react to damage by appearing "dizzy," or getting briefly shocked; some attacks result in brief explosions on the track, as racers are sent flying off screen. Commentators and racers sometimes engage in slapstick humor: a character wears red underwear while dancing on the sports desk; a racer picks his nose and makes a flicking gesture; a commentator pinches a character's neck, causing him to pass out. Dialogue contains lines such as "You succumbed to my atomic wedgie" and "Hugging is for Girl Scouts, hippies...and eye-talians."

:lol

Heard it on Gamespot's Hotspot.

oh and mystery preorder characters.

this has more dev support then LBP :lol.

The Infamous track looks AMAZING! Will this be DLC? Seriously why didn't LBP get this push from other developers Sony? Also why did LBP get copyright claims throw against it shutting down all the cool levels from the BETA (which were amazing) but this wont? Sony better have this same kind of push for LBP 2 if they know what's good for them. Still wonder the heights LBP could have gone to with this kinda focus and drive.

don't know. but the suppport for the game is bigger than LBP because the editor here is more user friendly and pick up and create. drive to create your track, populate and edit the way you want. it just is easier i guess.

Sony and this dev probably learned what not to do when LBP was out. watch they fuck up LBP2 though :lol.

I'm looking forward to this game. If the inFamous track a pre-order thing than I'll get this day one.
