If the narrative of Mortal Kombat is in any way shape or form something you care enough about to complain of spoilers, I strongly urge you to put the controller down and go read some books.
I keep forgetting where I am. Stories are total trash and nobody should care about them unless they are printed on paper and bound in a hard casing. Guess what, some people like their mindless stories and don't care to know what happens in them beforehand.

And even in the old Arcade format, MK has always had the best ending story boards even if most of the endings weren't canon. And the MK team would usually piece together elements of every ending to create the next game's story.

The achievement spoiler is significant though. If that was allowed to be spoiled here, thats like saying if someone spoiled that

You could always go on media blackout. I have a friend who did so and wasn't aware of the roster updates until Super SFIV was in his hands (though, I slipped up and mentioned Dee Jay to him once). He was legitimately surprised.shuri said:

There are already separate achievements for Fatalities, so I wonder what these hidden finishing moves are...just a second fatality perhaps? In fact, the hint is in the name - Humiliation? Gotta be something like Babalities.

Been there done that... for the most part. At our event in 2009 we had to unlock 20+ consoles for SF4. To unlock all of the characters in SF4 it takes about 30-45 minutes. Multiply that by 20 and there you go.
During that same year we also had to unlock all of the characters and stages in Soul Calibur IV. It didn't take as long as SF4, but we still had to do it.

I guess people who haven't been keeping with MK just don't understand story in fighting games since no other games really do it.
