the video felt like a parody of those really generic romantic comedies, dorky guy likes hot girl, he tries and fails to charm her, cool jerk swoops in and tries to impress her, cool jerk makes himself look like a jerk, dorky guy is sweet and not a jerk and gets the hot girl and fucks over the cool jerk.

i dont know if its a good idea to have your generic love song played over a video making fun of generic romcom movies, makes it look like you want me to think your song is a joke or something.
