New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition for Europe

Yeah I supposed so. But maybe we could find a way to make it work, just like :
The guy willing to give his invitation could log in with his Club Nintendo account and then give me a VNC/TeamViewer access on his computer. Then I enter my adress and my credit card information and I submit the order.
I could give a little something to the gaffer who would agree to do such a hassle.
I reckon it's random. I bought my Wii and Wii U on launch day but didn't get my 3DS until the price went down and the metallic red one appeared. I've spent a fair bit in the Wii U and 3DS eShops (four or 5 £5 thingummybobs from the promotion) but don't bother registering the vast majority of my retail games with Club Nintendo because there's never anything worth getting on Club Nintendo in Europe.
My mate gets all of his Nintendo consoles on day one, registers everything with Club Nintendo and didn't get one. Not too sure how much he's spent in the Wii U and 3DS eShops though so perhaps it's based on that..?
Nah pretty sure its just random, I spend a fair bit on the eshops as well as registering everything on club Nintendo but i never got one. Ill let everyone know if customer services ever get back to me. (dont hold your breath)
I got the mail and not interested (I already got my new 3ds xl from australia) - I think we could do that.

If you are from germany. I think it only works for "my own" country.

I've been a club nintendo member for like 12 years and I got the mail. I bought quite the software and hardware, but probably not as much as many other people.
I'm trying to figure out the data transfer details, in order to understand how painful it will be this transition (considering that I'll be forced to buy a bigger Micro SD Card and a charger...) before biting.
Crazy thing, few days ago I was just thinking about the OG DS debut: in PAL territories it was done through the Club Nintendo, with a preview version coming before the official release. As in this case!

I got that one....and I repent this decision to this day, the DSLite was a much better product overall.
Just thought I'd remind everyone not to register their New 3DS yet. They're bound to do a free game offer at some point after the official launch. I don't think that the Ambassador Bundle/New 3DS is included in the Winter free game thingummybob which ends on the 12th, which coincidentally is the last day you can buy the Ambassador Bundle.
Oh, I traded the OG model in for the DS Lite, but maaaaan, how happy I was about my DS delivery back in the days!

Forgive me for asking really obvious questions, I can delete games and keep game data? Might just shed all the games I won't be playing but I still want to have the save file when I purchase a bigger micro sd card.

Yes, the system should ask you, in deleting a game, if you want to delete also the save data or not.

I honestly don't see why not. I remember the Wii U's list of "supported" HDD's - pretty much any HDD works with it.
I have that card in my Xperia Z3.

Edit: I'll probably go for the Samsung Pro though, strikes a good balance between price and speed.

Personally I'd buy a bigger card, as they're dirt cheap and if you do it now you won't have to upgrade again.

Well that's pretty cool, guess all those who were on the fence are going to snap it up now.
Though something like this really should have been open to everyone and not behind a cryptic system. Even the random demo codes came with multiple codes so people could share them and most ended up on the eShop for general release anyway.

Any chance of the white one being more prone to natural blemishes? I was going for the the black one, but may just get the ambassador one now that I have the opportunity. May just sell the faceplates if they are sought after.
My white one gets some black scuff marks if I have change in my pocket too, but they just rub of easily with no lasting damage.
