It may not be real, but the sad truth is that it will probably sell a ton of Rifts.
It's a sure fire sign that when it hits the crappy media/facebook friends, they'll believe it's real as well. That makes it more hilarious.. and outrage or not, it should 'thrust' rift into the public mindset more.

That's actually an application that is being looked into. Let's say you have a man and a woman, both in far off lands. You use the OR HD to see virtual representations of each other. The man has a mechanized suction penis toy and the woman has a mechanized dildo. Using a keyboard or controller, the couple programs the machines on opposite ends to do stuff to their partner at varying speeds and force.
It's not just a matter of making long distance relationships fun, it's a matter of making them viable. We know how often they supposedly don't work out. This kind of stuff would help.
