Looks like a sequel to Magic Pengel. The UI is different and the 'doodles' are more 3D-looking and less 'crayon-ish-cel-shaded'.

Oh it's only the sequel? I was really keen to play Magic Pengel, it got a great review in Edge.

Also that fishing game looks like Legend of the River King.

Seems as if the rule of them amoung publishers is that if someone is still buying PSone games, they must be very dumb. Hence why we have Shoot Game. Weren't there other budget games with really simple titles like Racing, Shooting, and Puzzle?

You're right, there's a few quality Simple titles. The Splatter Action, however, isn't one of them. It's one of the ones you desperately want to be as awesome as it looks, but it just plain isn't. (Neither is The Oneechanbara/"Zombie Zone", although it's a bit better than Splatter.)

I like that Ac!d box. That isn't Shinkawa art, right? (I haven't played, seen nor read much about it so I don't know if it has a new artist.)
