Just wanted to test it out. Got into a btb under a minute. Took another 1 min before a few teammates left. They need rankings in this game. No ones gonna have fun playing against pros. There's no incentive to stay in the game. Match me up with my skill level players and I'll hop back in.
 
Its on sale at best buy today. $40.

$32 for gamer club unlocked.

Maybe I'll plug in my xb1 again.

Even if this doesn't work it'll be fun to play titanfall again.
 
I think everyone should hold their judgement until after having played through the game's peak hours one night.

If only you and 12 other guys have the patch, of course you aren't going to see miraculous results.

This is a big problem too is that all the non hardcore players are long gone, And the few regular players left just bail out of matches when its going south.

Every match will just be a landslide to the end when you're left 1v4 or whatever.. FUN!
 
Patch worked great for me last night. Matchmaking is working like it should now. The other bugs are still there, but it seems like the biggest problems are gone now.

Dammit, too bad I didn't buy t MCC for $36 digital in the ultimate sale. I don't imagine this game is going to drop below the $70 Canadian MSRP any time soon, will it? The problem was the game was not fixed then - and I swore off buying the game until it was fixed.

Ranks are not working either way. Playing against level 40's with my level 6 account and winning (and not ranking up) is not a ranking system. You should only get matched up with people in your level range. Let the level range be +/- 10 ranks (or even higher, if you can't find people in your level range), like in Halo 3.

That's the main reason I can't have fun in the mp. All my friends whom I used to play with are gone, married, kids, don't even know what an Xbox one is, etc. I don't mind going lone wolf, but match me up with other horrible players so I can at least have fun.

Its halo...people will come back when they hear it works...it was what i was waiting for
 
Great news! I Had actually started playing the single player (starting with H1) last week-end in the hopes that something like this would happen soon. There is a God after all!
 
That seems like a suspiciously short list of fixes given how long they've been working on this one. But I'll give it a shot tonight.

It's upsetting that some of the best matchmaking fun I ever had was in 2004 in halo 2, while it had problems it worked often enough to enjoy it.

it's 2015 now and we have broken matchmaking in a lot of games, what happened?
 
I love the new background for the menus, they are a lot nicer then that looping asteroid belt.

Currently searching for a BTB in the UK, might take a while as it's only 2pm on a week day.
 
I have but one question.

IS TEAM BALL IN PLAY YET?!?

I know a lot of people will be pissed to see snipers go. But im telling you....the best thing 343 has done, is without a doubt, at least IMO, Ricochet. Thats the best new gametype ive played in yeeeears. Its a blast.

Got into a lot of matches and had no real issues. Enjoying the hell out of Halo 2

H2 hit detection is much better. i shot a guy in the head with a sniper and he died instead of looking mildly confused and shooting ME in the head.

Matchmaking for everything, including BTB, seems massively improved. Ive done about ten matches through various playlists.

My party has not broken up once.

We'll see what happens later tonight, im curious if we'll see MCC in the top games played again. hasnt been since like december
 
BTB halo 4 worked well, took a few minutes to full the room but it felt really good with minimal lag.

Only big problem I have is that halo 4 BTB drops to 30fps so often it's not funny, or nice.

343i, please allow a 30fps optional lock because that BTB I was just in was far from 60.

Yeah, you didn't get the gist of it. I was saying that buying a $400 machine only(as evidenced by that poster returning the machine) to play 4 old games was a questionable decision.
 
How does the party system work?

I knew somebody that did some beta testing for the patch, and he said that while matchmaking was fine, the game still dumped you out of your party at the end of a match.

Only have 17 achievements to go. Some dumb MP achievements and Halo CE and 2 in under 3 hours.

Pretty sure ODST will release with new achievements, before I get them all.
 
First match was formed within acceptable times, but boy do I suck. Not playing Halo online for so long really put me back to square one.

I applaud the ones who are still going for a 100% achievement completion legit. For me this is the first Halo game were I simply don't care about reaching 100% completion due to the boring achievements for each single player mission and the idiotic LASO ones, that people are getting via save file sharing >.>
 
Played a Halo ce match and it got stuck trying to find the last player but only took about a minute and a half.

Then I played an h2a map and it loaded in 10 seconds. I don't want to get to pumped but I think e back

It worked great for me. I did a couple of Big Team Battle matches and some team slayer matches in a party of 3 and all matches were found quickly and no drops in party chat.
