New SDCC trailer for Inhumans

The hell is this...

*looks at gifs*... *reads impressions*

These people are full of shit and drinking the show floor hype Kool Aide.

Folks at SDCC and big shows like this all get emotional and hyped for any early footage shown.

Slightly better looking than the debut trailer, but it's best we not forget that this is a Scott Buck show. So my expectations are incredibly low.

Lockjaw looks so cute. I love Lockjaw.

That said this looks better-but everything about Medusa looks off. Bad actress, bad outfit and bad hair.

She's really not a bad actor. Most of the cast of Iron Fist aren't bad actors. Her lines in this trailer are mostly garbage.

That hair is weird. If you just focus on it, and not anything else in the scene, it almost looks OK. But compared to everything else it's like low contrast or something. Hopefully it's just incomplete and rough.

Shit, Iwan Rheon's playing quite the badass. Amazing when you consider the shy/awkward role in played in Misfits way back when.

The hair is hilarious. Moon people, giant CGI comic dog, and a ginger with magic hair. Marvel is approaching 90s Conan late night.

man i thought I was a big enough MCU fan to watch any Marvel stuff but Iron Fist and this I just can't bring myself to suffer through

truly looks bad

I think Medusa would look better if they would just take The Rocks CGI head from the 2nd Mummy movie and put it on her shoulders.

SHIELD is like 3 and half seasons of garbage, then ZOMG Ghost Rider!

This isn't true either. The first half of season 1 is very rough. It gets better in the second half and ends with a very strong string of episodes.

Season 2, however, is great all the way through. Season 4 ends up topping it by being possibly the best season of comic book television ever.

So, is anyone watching this in an IMAX theater?

Those special effects are super rough on a phone much less a giant screen.

After seeing the first trailer on the IMAX screen before Spider-Man Homecoming, it looks better on a big screen imo. The production value still looks like meh but it definitely looks like it's shot on high quality cameras with some effects done for those screens.

I may still give it a chance depending how the show is received and what they plan on charging to watch.

Positive:
Lockjaw looks good when he's not teleporting

Negative:
Everything else

Looks like utter shite, especially Medusa's hair and the 'fighting'

Saw the trailer before Dunkirk in IMAX.

One thing that hit me as I was watching this earlier is that nothing's really stood out for me as a big set piece worth the IMAX format. Plenty of indoor shots that make everything look tight, and generally unremarkable scenes otherwise.

They're really underselling the first two episodes if they're saving any/all big set pieces for the actual theatrical releases. I can also give them the benefit of the doubt in that their big set pieces are unfinished and not ready to be seen yet.
