Exactly...Amir0x said:eh, i could imagine it but man they really should have included more than 512mb of flash memory if they were gonna offer such a wide range of possible downloads. this is gonna get filled in two minutes, and even the 2 gig sticks will be small if it's consistent.

Unless they make it mandatory to buy a Nintendo HardDrive to play some games to their max potential.
Or
Everytime you play a new game, the space needed is deleted off the internal flash,
though this would make loadtimes REALLY long.

Maxrpg said:well look at it this way - would you rather have an upgradeable-yourself HDD instead of an internal HDD that is limited by size forever?
true, but the way they are going now, they could've charged more for the hard drive anyway. It's really coming down to cost. I bet the HDD would've added 50 more dollars on there, and we don't want to see a Wii 299 pricepoint.Amir0x said:i'd rather have an included HDD, without a remote doubt. PLUS, it's not like they could have made it upgradeable as well.
Exactly, plus if it does get to the point where it's a MUST to enjoy a games full potential,Amir0x said:i'd rather have an included HDD, without a remote doubt. PLUS, it's not like they couldn't have made it upgradeable as well.

Then Link should be able to turn into a wolf in SSBB.Wii said:OH I KNOW WHY ZERO SUIT SAMUS = SHIEK
Twilight Princess spoiler
They're using Twilight Princess Zelda for SSBB who will not turn into Shiek, instead of SSBM's Ocarina of Time Zelda

bubu 5 Gig is not enough.Amir0x said:from pure price of components, if they had a small 5GB HDD they'd probably actually just be breaking even, based on what they're currently charging for Wii
that's not enough for Nintenprofits of course though!![]()

Maybe, but he kinda has enough moves as it is.Ganondorf>Link said:Then Link should be able to turn into a wolf in SSBB.![]()

4 gigs, 75 bones.
yes but, there is a considerable amount of content that could eventually fill those 5 gigs. Even I find myself taking space up on the 360's 20 gig really fast.Amir0x said:it's acceptable, since it's not like Wii is gonna be providing HD content and thus the downloads will be smaller than on 360 or PS3.
oh there's a difference, but nothing amazing when compared to SSBM. graphically speaking they're very much in the same league as each other.DefectiveReject said:No difference between SSBM and SSBB??

yeah, like i said above. it's a stylistic choice. remember that SSBM Link was based on the design of OOT Link (or SC Link). Link in SSBB is based on TP Link, who is more detailed.DefectiveReject said:YEAH I CAN'T SEE IT EITHER

i think that's probably got more to do with stylistic choices by the developers, rather than any technical limitations though. It's difficult to find a good medium between something that's reasonably realistic so that characters like Snake don't look out of place, but then if it's too realistic characters like Wario or Kirby wont fit in.
it's just a compromise they've had to make.

SSBB isn't going to blow anyone away with the best graphics. It simply does what it needs to.

No, Metroid will be Q1 or Q2 2007marc^o^ said:Could Nintendo release Smash Brother Brawl, Mario Galaxy and Metroïd Prime in the next 6 months? That'd be huge. And somehow necessary.
