Doesn't look too bad, really. The announcer will probably get irritating after a while, but the tracks look nice, particularly Splash Canyon. The way the starting line works is very interesting!

My prediction?

Low scores in all the magazines, lots of bitching about it on GAF, and lots of "What the hell happened to Sega? Stop driving the Sonic franchise into the ground!" type posts.

I also predict it'll actually kick all kinds of ass and will become my favorite 3D Sonic game.

Isn't Splash Canyon a NiGHTS stage? No wait thats a combo of Splash Gardens and Stick Canyon.

The announcer feature sounds interesting especially if you're against human opponents, hopefully an option to turn it off will be available.

That desert level is very reminicent of the sandboarding stage in Sonic Adventure.

All in all the game is looking quite good I just hope it plays as well especially if we're gonna have to endure Sonic Riders 2.
