I know. If you took a latin class in school, it basically tells you most of the evolution of certain language properties in europe, including Germanic languages.

In polish language even verbs (in past tense) and adjectives are gendered . There's no escaping from gendering people and objects in most of languages.

Rather adjectives are synced together with their corresponding noun - smaczny obiad ; gorąca laska. French is the same.
