That's great. I thought as much since I know the mercs in the demo are Saffa from hearing them. I'm South African too so this is great.

My only fear is that these two are shaping up to be like these two:
Who still kind of felt like newer versions of these two,
don't really see what's similar between Lazarevic/Flynn with Roman/Navaro other than them being 2 villain partner.
the new villain Rave and Nadine do seems like they have the same relationship like Roman/Navaro though, as in a treasure hunter hiring a mercenary/pirates group. although this time, I think Rave will remain the main villain unlike Roman who got betrayed by Navarro at the end of U1.

I don't know Sam doesn't look like Troy. And Rafe doesn't look like Robin Atkin Downes cuz that's whos is probably going to play him cuz he's been every Uncharted

I came here to say Rafe looked a lot like Tim Roth, but I see that was already covered. I'm really liking the new characters, especially Nadine. Very interested to see how the story will play out with these two.

Aside from the outfit they don't really look too much alike. But yeah I love Nadine's design too. My favorite of the 3.Major Jones in my Uncharted 4, why hello !

These artworks are uninspiring, the plot details released thus far are cliche circling on laughable, and the "surprise brother" thing reminds me of Indy 4. This is my opinion, take it or leave it.
Love Naughty Dog, everything I've seen from this game outside of the target gameplay doesn't do it for me.

Not sure what "Now I see why Amy Hennig left" still has to do with anything.
Also the walkthrough was played live and with even some unintentional hiccups. Nothing was also shown that was too unrealistic and the TLOU (imo) AI was still better.

Both cite the poor/not as advertised AI, ditched features, etc. The Last of Us was a great game but facts are facts are facts.

Let's say that's a fact in regards to The Last of Us for argument's sake; what does that have to do with Uncharted 4? You were referring to UC4 in your statements and making proclamations that you say are factual. I'm still waiting for your source on UC4.

He's right about the AI....but I didn't really care about that, I just couldn't get into the sneak everywhere gameplay (just wasn't my game). I wanted some more Dragons Dogma, Dark Souls, Dragons Crown and etc.

Right about what? He simply made correlation to the Last of US and calls it a fact that U4 A.I is all staged and consequently will end up "downgraded" or "dumbed down" like TLOU. You draw a parallel to suggest - not because of chance. Whether the demo was staged or not does not even matter - it has no consequence in the A.I being "downgraded" or dumbed down. In short, speculation. Just jumping the gun to end his post on a high mark.
Here's what he did. He came to the thread and says the character artwork is crap. Says the story so far looks like crap. Amy left probably because of crap and crap. And that the A.I won't be up to DEMO reel cause TLOU and Naughty Dog....lies bla bla bla.
So naturally some people will seek clarification - more so if opinions come off as suggestive facts. Gets defensive and calls said posters passive aggressive. You should expect posters to question your opinions is a discussion forum, more so when they are polarizing.

See, I've stated my opinions and marked them as such, backed up factual statements with sources (which aren't definitive, merely add credence the idea partly due to past history of ND and partly due to the fact it's an unfinished game relatively far away from release).

The insinuation was that it looks uninspiring and they took it in a different direction than she would have done/that offended her artistic sensibilities. Pure speculation, granted.
It was sarcastic and irreverent but generally people leave their job because they aren't satisfied and in creative fields because they're moving up/have gripes with mgmt over their work. Who knows.
