Yeah, I download the update about an hour ago. I wasn't even aware of those problems since i've never tried resetting the system while using the Internet Channel and I don't have the LAN adapter.

Don't have the LAN problems, but will still update later tonight. Can't stop playing Echoes right now, though.

So this fixes all those connection problems and bogus error codes? I hope so because It took me an hour to get the update after 4 or 5 failures when there was nothing wrong with my connection and I could access all the online channels just fine.

Nintendo also needs to speed up the update interface. If there is a problem I shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for it to finally tell me and then force me back to the menu instead of back to the settings section.

If for some reason I had some issue and I needed to contact Nintendo customer service, all I'm going to be able to tell them is that on my Wii it says "3.0" and therefore, they're not going to really know what firmware version I have. That could be a problem.
