To those saying it looks like a Red Steel situation, Red Steel was made by Ubisoft Paris who are responsible for the Just Dance, Rabbids and Ghost Recon games. Zombi U is made by Ubisoft Montpellier who also made Beyond Good and Evil and the main Rayman games including Rayman Origins and Legends.

Works both ways. My crystal ball tells me that in all likelihood no one would give a crap about this game if it was coming to PS360 instead with SmartGlass/Vita crap tacked on.

My crystal ball tells me Xbox720 and PS4 will have screens in their controllers.

But it was still attached to the traditional controller... it doesn't make you control the game any different, just feel a feedback sensation to whatever was on the screen

Also, (and beaten many times) - last gen some said "I'd rather have dual analog than this motion gimmick" without even giving it a shot. I'd suggest approaching it with an open mind. It's something new and imagining how it works vs actually using it are two different things.

Dual analogs are superior to motion controls in most games IMO (mostly because they implement that shit horribly), but some games like Metroid on Wii and Killzone 3 with the move controller have shown me that motion controllers have great potential in shooter games. These features in the Zombi U video looks pretty redundant to me, instead of having the menu/keypad/scope on the screen you have it on the pad and so on. They could've made the menu transparent so that you could still see your char and surroundings when you tap in the code or whatever. So for me the pad inclusion is a downgrade from motion controls in a game like this.

It's not an FPS. It's not about the shooting. You don't need that super quick and comfy, high precision aim here.

For a start, it looks so British. Which I fucking love. Cricket bats, secret tunnels hidden within Buckingham Palace, zombie beefeaters (lol), SO good. And then the game itself just looks like a blast to play.

I was actually willing the guy to hurry up entering that code as the zombies got closer. So fucking tense!

That does look good! Definitely excited for this game. That's a neat feature too that if your friends are playing while connected to the internet, their zombies can appear in your game as well.

this is a must for me. i'm not sold on pikmin 3 or nintendoland, but this is a must buy for me. it's very unique and that's all you can ask for from launch titles.

it's like condemend, it was the reason i bought a x360. it was unique and had interesting gameplay mechanics that i found very intriguing and to my taste.

Nice, confirms you can re-visit the hub area and use the big ass box to drop loot and ammo for the next survivor to pick up.

She also said the game will have very little ammo drops, which is good news. Combined with the hard mode she mentioned (maybe a joke) this sounds like real survival horror.

The huffing and puffing when the female character was out of breath were hilarious though.
