Not 100% gaming related, but certainly it's quite interesting for games as well and certainly with a lot of possibilities.

The technology is multi-touch screens, developed at NYU (as per post on the Cult of Mac blog). And the interesting part is that Apple has patented these interactions, which means... a TabletMac?

what I don't understand is why multi point touch screens is such a break through. Seems like a straight forward progression of touch screens. What is the technology hurdle that makes it amazing?
