Next Level Games has been working on "top secret project" since October

So because a person, who is even well-respected, even with all the stuff around video games journalism, writes what he was told in an interview, you don't trust it because of the site it was written in?
Anyway, they are working on something, it's just not necessarily going to be a game in the end.

... Sorry, I don't follow you here. What else other than a game would a studio that develops video games be working on?

Guys, last summer I told a friend of mine who works there they should be working on a sequel to Battle Clash. This MUST be it.

I haven't talked to him since

Next Level is awesome, so this is awesome.

But let me tell you something, Nintendo: you don't have room for "top secret" these days.
It's not their only "top secret" project, either (if it actually is a Nintendo project). Current projects from Linkedin profiles of Nintendo employees:

Secret awesome project full of awesomeness and secrecy.
Managing a team of talented people on a high value secret project

I guess I'm just a 3DS owner who doesn't want to share!

Let's see, we've got Monster, Treasure, Intelligent, AlphaDream, Monolith Soft, HAL, Camelot, Game Freak, and Grezzo all working on some 3DS projects.

I think it has a sufficient amount for the moment.

I'd rather see them work on something more exciting and ambitious than another Mario Strikers game or new version of Punch-Out.

I really hope it's another project with Nintendo. Next-Level just seems to make magic happen when they work with them. Whatever IP Nintendo gives them, I know they could make it great.

Let's hope for a reveal at this E3!

Wish they'd confirm if it's a Nintendo project. Then we could hype ourselves with the possibility it's a franchise revival!

They really need to make a new Punch-Out!! for 3DS, but it would be nice if they've got a Wii U project planned.

what other old Nintendo franchises or abandoned spin-offs could they possibly be rebooting?

edit: just looked through some of the older ones and Air Fortress & Star Tropics look high potential for a new IP
