Detroit out-and-out sucked today. Stafford was horrible. Backus and the rest of the OL was horrible. The playcalling was horrible (Not ONE pass to CJ in the red zone? Really, Linehan?). This team has NO SHOT at the playoffs if that doesn't change.

A 9 (8) win team this year can get an NFC wildcard. I think you can get 4 wins with another against the vikings, denver, bears. Atlanta looks beatable, and the Panthers while no pushover have shown severe weaknesses, chargers and their special special teams.

Any team against the Packers right now have to expect a loss. Raiders game will be tough for the Lions to hold McFadden but still winnable.

Bascially, Detroit has a great great chance at a wildcard. Giants/Packers/Saints/Niners will be the division winners. The second wildcard will either be Atlanta/Philly (yes, Philly) probably, though the Redskins/Cowboys/Bucs have outside chances. If the Bears win tonight I'll even say they have an outside chance. More of a showing of how weak the conference is rather than saying who is "worthy" of the wildcard.
