Agree completely, but Flacco isn't as bad as he's portrayed on here.

cajunator was banned yesterday. Mystery deepens!!

Flacco is the definition of a game manager.

Would've had a career defining clutch game too if his receiver didn't forget receiving 101 fundamentals.

As a proud Giants fan, I have somewhat high hopes for next season. We got really lucky this year with the way things could have went (cough cough Miles Austin incompletion). I do believe we have the talent to take the division again, but I'm really nervous about our linebackers and DBs. Our linebackers got burned by most of the slot WRs and TEs we faced this year (Hernandez killed us in the Super Bowl) and our DBs are still pretty young with the exception to Ross and Webster.

I think we're going to be a wildcard team next year.

Super Bowl

Texans vs. 49ers

What is this shit? Two teams from the AFC West and the Jets but the Steelers fall into some dark pit never to seen again? Giants victory has clouded your mind.

I've been a huge Rockies fan since their inception, back in the 90's. Even with that being said, I followed baseball before that as a kid even though I didn't have a favorite team. I watched MoneyBall last night, and I really enjoyed the portrayal of Billy Bean, Jeremy Gambi, David Justce, as well as Ron Washingtn. Even if you guys aren't baseball fans it's an interesting flick.

Bledsoe is clearly superior to Flacco.

You guys are smoking crack if you're thinking otherwise.

Roethlisberger and Romo are vastly superior to Flacco to put it into perspective.

edit: statistically, Matt Ryan is also significantly superior to Flacco!

Bledsoe better than Flacco? I disagree and I've seen every game he played in Patriots uniform. I don't ever recall people calling him elite like Flacco.

I haven't seen it yet but I've heard good things about it.

http://www.hogshaven.com/2012/2/7/2783161/i-ran-into-jim-haslett-and-we-talked-qb-draft

It sounds crazy and not true, but who knows

As I proceeded to leave the building, Hogs Haven brethren came to mind, and I realized I must risk shame and embarrassment for the greater good. At least we did have one thing in common, our daughters played club volleyball.

As I approached his table, I asked if he were Jim Haslett. He answered in the affirmative and I continued by telling him that minus Chief Zee or iH8dallas, I was the Redskins number 1 fan and that it was a great honor to meet him. Well not only did he stand up to shake my hand, but he also introduced me to his wife, and we talked briefly about our daughters volleyball teams and how they were doing in the tournament.

So enough of the small talk, I had to know what the front office plans were for the draft. Here's a list of what I learned from our conversation:

They are not interested in Matt Flynn. I am eating major crow here. I have written several posts outlining why I was convinced that Matt Flynn was going to be the Redskins next QB. I am here to tell you I am no Nostradamus. When I asked about Flynn, he said he was a below average QB coming out of college with poor arm strength, balls hitting the ground, etc. The sense around the front office is that he did little to erase that perception and that his success against the Lions on January 1, 2012 was more of an anomaly than the norm.

Star-divide

With the exception of Luck and RG111, they have been very disappointed by the QB's in this year's draft class. He didn't elaborate on where he saw these QB's up close (I'm thinking the Senior Bowl.) But contrary to many thoughts, Foles, Tannehill, Moore, Weeden, Wilson among others did not impress. Haslett said at least twice, that they were discouraged by this year's QB class.

They are considering trading up with St. Louis Rams. He said, they have already talked with Jeff Fisher about the possibility. He did not elaborate on the details, other than to say they had talked with Fisher and are serious about getting a good QB. So again, I am eating crow, since I thought the Redskins would trade down for extra picks. They are not trading down, since they do not believe the QB's in the later rounds are talented enough to lead the team. Haslett believes the team is good enough to win, if they just had one of the two talented QB's at top.

The Redskins are also seriously looking at acquiring Peyton Manning. According to Haslett, Allen has some connections with some people in Indianapolis and mentioned discussions surrounding Peyton in a Redskins uniform have already begun behind the scenes.

Rex Grossman might remain as backup. Although Haslett did not commit to this, he did say they liked Rex's knowledge of the offense and his ability to move the ball. Unfortunately, he acknowledged these abilities come with an average of 3-4 costly turnovers per game.

Eli as a HOF'er is stupid. Whoever is pushing this agenda please stop. IMO to be Hall of Fame worthy you have to be a notch above your contemporaries, he is not a notch above Brady, Peyton, Brees, nor Rodgers. The only thing he has above them is he has 2 championships from 2004, but then Ben is in that category as well, so what the fuck?

I said this, I think, to Future earlier, but he's not even a consistent pro-bowler.

I'm perfectly fine with him plodding along here for the rest of the five or six years he'll play here and cementing the fact that he's the best Giants QB to have ever laced them up.

It's also really awesome how so many people were saying that before the Super Bowl (Knowledgeable ones, not just media tools).

I'd be really happy to, at some point in the near future, get a Giants versus Steelers Super Bowl. The class of 2004 is now 4-1 in SBs, yeeehaw!

BS. You want your NY vs. NY Super Bowl, in NY.

I would get kicked out the house if I ever spoke bad about Bledsoe.

If Eli retired today then no he wouldn't be a hall of famer. But he's still got 5+ years sitting in front of him so it really doesn't matter.

Kurt wasn't saying Eli isn't a hall of famer, all he said is if he retired today then hes not a hall of famer. He still has a ways to go. But it's definitely not impossible for him.

You're out of your goddamned mind.

I'm starting to become that old dude that remembers when x classic player played and can compare them to today's guys. I'm becoming levious. :(

I don't care who the Giants play in the SB, just would be nice if Ben and Eli are tied in championships at the end of their careers and there's a showdown for all the marbles.

(Accorsi would have taken either of them, so whatever)

Fat Jonah Hill was great.

Speaking of the NY located Super Bowl, I'm pretty excited for that. I think it would be pretty neat to have a Super Bowl victor get a hosting opportunity as an incentive.

Return of the cold!

I'm saving up for it right now. I have no idea how I'm going to purchase the tickets seeing how most seem to go to the sponsors and there's only a handful left for us plebians.

Brees and Rodgers only began entering this fold this past season, or in Rodger's case the season before. I don't think it's out of line to say Eli is on his way to the HOF. Granted he's not done right now so it's silly to even discuss thoroughly- he has a good 4-5 seasons of top billing left.

He's got some damn impressive stuff in the 4th quarter, post-season accolades, two time Super Bowl MVP, and has beaten greats like Brady and Belidick in the two Super Bowls he has been in. That is worth more than Pro Bowl appearances, which you and I both know is a complete joke - look no further than Vince Young there multiple times, or Shaun O'Hara getting in last year despite playing in six games.

Warner's HOF case is interesting though. Not a large body of work for him, and he's played with Bruce, Holt, Boldin, Fitzgerald, and Faulk for his career.

If I can't see my Giants play in the NY-NJ Super Bowl, then I want two dome teams showing up in February 2014 and playing Super Bowl XLVIII in a 20 degree Nor'Easter.

Eff dome teams.

Giants host the NFC championship game that year then the SB...

Giants would be considered the away team lol lol...

The Skins should take a look at Mallett, he's gonna be elite and is available at the small cost of a 1st round pick and Brian Orakpo.

Holy shit, are we still talking about Flacco and Bledsoe? I was just trolling. Bledsoe isn't HoF by any stretch, but Flacco? He's shittier than shit.

Also, he shaved like a bitch. He should have grown that shit out all offseason and come back looking like Al Hrabosky.
