Is that safe for the media to be publicizing the tipster's name? Or was he already arrested?
Was that one of the 2 guys with Aaron that other night? It seemed blatantly obvious that one of them had flipped on him given the detail the police had.

Go Cougs man! Gonna be starting my Senior year in about a month.

Whoooaaaaa! I thought I was the only one here! I was there from 01-06, best years of my life! Go Cougs! Cannot wait for the football season to start, I'm going to the opener at Auburn. Enjoy your senior year, it can be challenging but just remember to have fun every minute you can.

My theory based on absolutely nothing is that Lloyd either took part or knew about the 2012 shooting, so to keep him happy and quiet, Aaron kissed his ass, gave him shit, let him use his truck, ect... Then he saw Lloyd hanging out with some rivals at a bar and/or heard he was talking shit and said to himself "I give this guy all this crap and he still disses me?" and decided instead of keeping up appearances to keep Lloyd quiet, he'd rather just kill him.

Aaron's fiancé or BM or whatever she is, should feel very lucky. I have no doubt in my mind that a dude with Aaron's personality is very capable of having her killed, if he didn't get caught in these murders..

This guys seems to go to any means to protect his hard image and anything he can't control he just gets rid of. Shit is crazy

Man who alleges Aaron Hernandez shot him in the face ordered to testify:

A Connecticut man who alleges he lost his right eye and sustained other "permanent" injuries after being shot in the face by Aaron Hernandez in February has been summoned to appear before a grand jury in Massachusetts that is considering the murder case against the one-time NFL star.

Superior Court Judge Joan Alexander in Hartford, Conn., ordered on Friday that Alexander Bradley testify July 17 in Fall River, Mass., where a grand jury is probing allegations that the former New England Patriots tight end orchestrated the murder of Odin Lloyd, according to a court document obtained by NBC News.

According to the suit, Hernandez was driving from Tootsie's strip club in Miami to Palm Beach with a group of people at the time of the dispute.

A gun that Hernandez "was not legally licensed to have" then discharged, the suit stated. The bullet struck Bradley, causing him to lose his right eye and resulting in several surgeries, difficulty eating and other damages that are "permanent in nature," according to the suit.

A Palm Beach County police reported obtained by NBC News last month said that the case became inactive after Bradley refused to cooperate with emergency officials, telling them that he didn't know who shot him.

The report states: "En route to the hospital while the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was treating the victim, I attempted asking him several times if he knew who did this to him and he stated, 'No.'"

Bradley denied that the wounds were self-inflicted, according to the report.

He is seeking at least $75,000 in damages from Hernandez, said David Jaroslawicz, one of the attorneys representing Bradley. He added that his client wants to know whether the gun was discharged on purpose.

"When we get Mr. Hernandez's testimony, hopefully he'll tell us," Jaroslawicz said on June 20. "My guess is he'll say 'I didn't do it deliberately.'"

Bradley was discovered shortly before 7 a.m. on Feb. 13 in an alley of a John Deere landscaping business in Riviera Beach, Fla., just miles from Palm Beach, according to the report, after someone called 911 to report a sighting of a bleeding person. Bradley was then found with blood on his head and a possible gunshot wound to his hand, according to police.

Bradley reportedly has resisted an interstate subpoena, claiming he needed to travel to Florida for medical treatment, according to The Associated Press.

But Judge Alexander in Hartford said the prospective court appearance "will not cause undue hardship" for Bradley, according to the summons. The document also states that Bradley "is a material and necessary witness" in the investigation of Hernandez.

Lloyd, a 27-year-old semi-pro football player for the Boston Bandits, was found dead June 17 near Hernandez's home in North Attleborough, Mass. Prosecutors allege Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd's slaying because he was angry at him for talking to certain people at a Boston nightclub three nights before.

Bradley's testimony is scheduled for 9 a.m. on July 17, according to the summons.

To be fair, the existence of another woman might mean his fiance won't try and marry him to prevent testifying.

I keep hearing this mentioned, but has there been any indication that his g/f has any inside information that could hurt Hernandez? It seems like the DA has a pretty strong case w/o her.

NFL.com - Urban Meyer on Hernandez:

"Prayers and thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim," Meyer texted The Columbus Dispatch and also The Gainesville Sun. "Relating or blaming these serious charges to the University of Florida, myself or our staff is wrong and irresponsible."

Meyer dismissed reports that Hernandez failed multiple drug tests and received special treatment at Florida, telling the newspapers those inaccuracies were the catalyst for him coming forward.

"I just received an email from a friend where there is an accusation of multiple failed drug tests by Hernandez covered up by University of Florida or the coaching staff. This is absolutely not true," Meyer texted. "Hernandez was held to the same drug testing policy as every other player."

Wrote Meyer: "He was an athlete at Florida 4-7 yrs ago and there are some comments being made that are not correct. Our staff, myself and our families worked very hard to mentor and guide (Hernandez)."

Beyond rumors of drug use, the Gainesville (Fla.) Police Department this week released a 2007 incident report from a double shooting in which multiple Florida players, including Hernandez, were questioned.

The 2007 shooting occurred when Hernandez was a 17-year-old freshman. Two men were wounded, including one who was shot in the back of the head. The police report, in which Hernandez's name was redacted, indicated that the pair of victims were shot inside a car after leaving a nightclub. An eyewitness said there were two shooters, including a "Hawaiian" or "Hispanic" with a muscular build and "a lot of tattoos."

Meyer on Saturday did not immediately address the shooting.

UPDATE: In a later conversation with The Sun, Meyer talked about the 2007 shooting. Meyer said that an assistant told him the players were questioned as witnesses, and "I didn't think about it again until a couple of days ago."

Snoop sends message of support to Hernandez:

Snoop Dogg or Snoop Lion or Snoop Doggy Dogg or whatever he’s calling himself these days sent a message of support for Aaron Hernandez on Thursday night. “Keep ya head up,” Snoop wrote on Instagram. “We prayn 4 ya.”

Snoop included a picture of himself posing with Hernandez, presumably during better days for the former New England Patriots tight end.

Though the post had 22,000 likes on Instagram, most commenters were against Snoop’s show of solidarity with a man facing a murder charge.

As Hernandez sits in prison awaiting trial, his world has rapidly disintegrated. The New England Patriots released him, removing all merchandise bearing his name and likeness. Similarly, the NFL took down his stats from its website and fans have been offered the opportunity to exchange his jersey for another player’s for free. But he still has the support of Snoop, whatever that’s worth.

Uh, so Aaron Hernandez stopped and bought gas, bubble gum and cigar WITH a credit card on way to pick up Lloyd?

Shayanna Jenkins broke into tears when she was told that Odin L. Lloyd had been murdered, but her boyfriend Aaron Hernandez slammed the door in the face of police - and never asked them whose death they were investigating, according to court records released this afternoon.

“Mr. Hernandez did not ask officers whose death was being investigated,” police wrote in one of several reports unsealed in Attleboro District Court today. “Mr. Hernandez’s demeanor did not indicate any concern for the death of any person.”

Just hours after Lloyd’s body was found, State and North Attleborough police questioned Hernandez outside his home on Ronald C. Meyer Drive in North Attleborough around 10:30 p.m. on June 17.

He told investigators that he last saw Lloyd on June 16 “up his way’’ in Boston, according to the report. Hernandez quickly turned hostile toward detectives, police said in the report.

“What’s with all the questions?” Hernandez asked police.

He then said he needed to speak with an attorney and walked back into his house, retrieved his lawyer’s business card and handed it to the detectives standing at his front door. The detectives told Hernandez they were investigating a death, but he responded by slamming the door, and locking it, police said.

Frankly, I would have been incredibly disappointed if Aaron wasn't moving keys.

In the papers released today about the Lloyd homicide, police said that an employee of Rumor nightclub told them Hernandez appeared to be wearing a pistol when he was in the nightclub on June 14.

Goddamn. Rolling up to the club strapped. I keep getting more and more amazed at what a g Aaron is.

I feel like this is the most open-and-shut case ever. Aaron Hernandez is not a smart man.

Documents: Hernandez admitted firing fatal shots

MIAMI (AP) — Documents show a man linked to the murder case against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez told police Hernandez admitted firing the fatal shots.

Carlos Ortiz reportedly told Massachusetts investigators that another man, Ernest Wallace, said Hernandez admitted shooting Odin Lloyd in an industrial park near Hernandez's Massachusetts home.

Here's The Text Message Conversation That Aaron Hernandez Had With Odin Lloyd The Night He Was Killed

Here's the conversation as it appeared in court records (via Brian Ballou of the Boston Globe):

Hernandez (9:05 pm): "I'm coming to grab that tonight u gon b around I need dat and we could step for a little again"

[no answer]

Hernandez (9:34 pm): "Waddup."

Lloyd (9:37 pm): "Aite, where."

Hernandez (9:39 pm): "idk it don't matter but imma hit u when I'm dat way like Las time if my phone dies imma hit u when I charge it which will be in a lil."

Lloyd (10:00 pm): "Aite idk anything goin on"

Hernandez (10:13 pm): "I'll figure it out ill hit u on way."

Lloyd (12:22 am): "We still on."

The court records also show that Lloyd kept Hernandez in his phone under the name "Dis N***a."

Investigators say Hernandez picked up Lloyd at 2:33 a.m.

It's unclear what Hernandez was referring to when he said "grab that," but Hernandez's girlfriend reportedly told police that Lloyd was a marijuana dealer before Hernandez told her to stop talking to investigators.

Lloyd is clearly a thug. Probably also had trace amounts of THC in his system. Hernandez should just claim self-defense.

Heh. I remember Lloyd's friends were saying he was a clean and honest person. Now he's apparently a drug dealer? Saw it coming, not surprised at all. Both guys are dirty and were both probably crooks.

The surest way to tell if a guy was a g or not is to look for certain code phrases from his friends after he dies. Stuff like "fun-loving," or "devoted father," or "was making major changes in his life" are dead giveaways after someone gets shot up.
