Wow, at least we know Vick has his priorities straight, talking about the rushing record is the biggest thing he has worked towards in his career, then talks about how great a passer he is.....when they lost.....

TO admitted he spat (spitted?) in Deangelo's face. What a classless, stupid stupid thing to do.

they should suspend his ass for a couple of games.

i'm starting to think TO is actually, literally... insane. i know he's a certifiable narcissist, but it's more than that. he lives in a world in his mind that is just really unstable.

Yeah it was pretty much totally uncalled for, ESPECIALLY when you're actually schooling somebody.

2. MBIII is a beast. holy shit. i love this guy. The reason he doesn't start is that he's the big bruiser. He's most effective in the 2nd half when he's fresh and the defense is already banged up and tired.
i disagree with this completely. he runs like that no matter when. those spins and dives and lunges and jukes he makes are just as effective in the first half.

you start this kid and make him the featured back, with Jones spell'in him on occasion and you won't believe how much better this offense is.

last week, it was all Jones, and other than one big run, nothing. our offense sputtered.

this week, Barber comes in and we are a completely different team.

I'm wondering what Hall said to TO. TO may be an insane douchebag but he's not going to just randomly spit in a guys face for no reason.

Hall is one of the biggest trash talker's around who is always runnin his mouth... even when he's getting owned and beaten like a red headed step child [as TO was doing] he is talking nonsense. He obviously eventually got to TO and pushed the right buttons. Still no excuse for spitting on another man.

T.O. should've just pointed up to the scorboard, smiled and winked. :D

i agree the team is better with mb3. i'm just trying to figure out bill's mindset

here's what i would like to see happen, and then i think we could make a serious run for the superbowl...

1. Start Marion Barber.

2. Get Greg Ellis back [and therefore get our pass rush back which in turn fixes most of our D probs].

3. Bench the LB who keeps busting his assignment to cover the FB in the flat. Parcells said they told him about this and he still keeps missing his assignment. just get someone else in.

4. Watch for the delayed middle screen. we got lucky Atlanta didn't do it, but it was there again. also, #2 will help this also, as a pass rush won't give it time to develop. both the Giants and Saints killed us so many times with this for huge chunks of yards [especially on 3rd downs].

For the record, Faulk and Deion were actually pretty damn good in the booth, they were knowledgeable and didn't really distract from the game.

I really like Deion doing color. i don't know why either, cause I can't stand him as a studio analyst. he did much better helping call the game in the booth.

Faulk was good on his analysis, but his voice isn't that good to listen to.

it could be Ware who keeps missing the assignment

After the game tonight, I hope we draw Dallas in the playoffs. Atlanta's D was more open than Ivana Cumalot's legs, not even Tim Lewis's D's are that bad.

Romo bounced back pretty nicely, tho.

Most fans at the board I frequent don't want to play the Giants or the Saints in the playoffs.

Teams I wouldn't want to play in the NFC playoffs if I was an opposing coach: New Orleans, Chicago (their defense and special teams are still ricockulous), and maybe, MAYBE Dallas. Dallas' D kind of sucks.

Teams I would want to play: everyone else in contention, but especially the Seahawks and Falcons. Falcons probably won't make it, though. I bet Carolina beats our ass next week.

I'm putting it down right now: Superbowl will be San Diego vs. New Orleans. Bet on it.

really going out on a line on that one...

Yeah dude. Totally. You're right, how's this:

Superbowl will be Philadelphia vs. Denver. Bet on it. Dur hur hur.

you just act as if no one is betting on the best team in the nfl on going to the superbowl.

Chargers = Best AFC (And NFL) Team
Saints = Best NFC Team.

Im sure most would agree with you

It's painful being such a talented team, but so inconsistent. It's like the Yankees all over again for me. Our O-Line is SHOT and I fully expect Philly to expose us for that tomorrow, but hopefully we can heal up a little for the playoffs. (Our LT broke his leg a month ago, and our center was injured last week, for those that don't know)

I'll get to see the Saints first hand next week, but I still hold that it's Drew Brees and a bunch of guys. Their D doesn't look all that daunting, and I think if you put a safety or a corner on Bush and you should be okay as long as you don't let him make moves in the open field. We'll see.

I didn't see any highlights and listened to the game on the radio, were both of TO's touchdown catches with Hall covering him? Shit I hope so, he's the most annoying bastard in the NFL. I don't care if you wanna talk trash so long as you can back it up, but him talking like he's one of the best corners in the NFL is like Ryan Leaf talking trash about being one of the best QB's ever. bububu im the fastest player in the nfl! Who cares, stfu and learn to cover people. I'm glad TO spit in his face.

Hall was covering him both times. On the first TD, there is nothing Hall could do. He played great coverage, but it was just a great pass and catch. On the second TD, TO just completely smoked him. It was embarrassing. And there is no excuse for TO spitting on him. Thats disgusting and uncalled for. TO better hope he doesn't play Atlanta again. They are going to try to kill him.

Finally! I can watch a damned Vikings game without getting called into work!

Dallas needs a Minnesota Loss and a Saints win to clinch the playoffs. Make it happen Jets!

Vick and Anderson both discuss their records.

Now, doesn't that make a demoralizing loss a little easier to take? "I'm disappointed we didn't get the win," Vick said. "But it's a milestone ... It means a lot ... It's everything I worked for in my career ... Yeah, it's big. It's big."

Anderson was a little more reserved in his comments: "It is tough to talk about individual records when you lose a football game as a team ... It's a reflection on a lot of holders and snappers and field goal teams and opportunities."

Which view do you think is better?:P

Hmmm seems the Eagles finally realized we can't stop the run, finally gonna play Bunkley and move Darwin Walker to DE. Gawd I miss you Kearse ;-(.

I'll take it but not sure I completely understand the rules to them.

If Giants win, you get an avatar of my choosing until the next Eagles game.

You just now started to think that? He is without a doubt totally batshit insane. I think it takes him playing for your team for people to realize it.

We had to do something. I find it hard to believe the Colts run defense is somehow worse than ours. We gave up 200+ in 4 of the last 6 games.

WTF?

Fox and CBS both begin with Falcons-Cowboys highlights. Howie Long tells us an interesting detail: Terrell Owens approached DeAngelo Hall's son after the game and gave him his jersey. Shannon Sharpe expresses what nearly every ex-player has said this morning: Hall should have punched Owens after Owens spat on him. Joe Buck says, "this guy just gets weirder and worse every week."

What in the world is wrong with TO?

WTF? We run an end-around pass to Matt Jones on the first play of the game? Lose 7 yards or so........what a sorry ass call.

Have to cheer for the Jets in this game. Keep the Vikings from becoming a factor in the wildcard race plz.

Same for the Steelers.

****! WTF CHAD!

Come on Redskins, beat the Saints. Argh never thought I'd want another NFC East team to win a game.

Ladell Betts is actually pretty good when I'm not watching him run against the Eagles.

And for some reason, against the monstrous Jags D-line, the Titans run it 3 times in a row, gaining a total of 7 yards and punt. Good times:)
