I can't take the closeups on Mike Tice, chewing gum, and Cutler licking his lips. This is turning into high unintentional comedy.

These announcers blaming Cutler. There's no one freakin' open :lol
when you bring guys in for the blitz, someone is open somewhere. Collinsworth mentioned how Warner used to run this offense, Cutler needs to do the same. The problem is, he's no Kurt Warner.

plus, you don't have to pass the ball. you can actually try..running

What a nightmare first half. Giants couldn't capitalize though Bears will win this game.

Eh, there are some guys open he could dump it off. Cutler looking for the big gain.

This is only on the o-line if you know nothing about football.

Most of these are on Cutler. A few are on Martz and his QB-killing scheme. One or two have been on the Bears o-line.

When you have 9/10 sacks in a HALF, the o-line has to take the blame...

Soooo many sacks. I thought the chargers were destroying a team defensively, but shiiiieeet. The worst part is its only the first half.

YOU GET A SACK!
YOU GET A SACK!
YOU GET A SACK!
YOU GET A SACK!

I would love to be in the locker room of either team at half time:

Bears
Cutler: GUYS FUCKING GET OPEN.

Giants:
Defense: IF YOU GUYS CAN'T SCORE WE'RE COMING AFTER ELI.

Oh and I didn't realize NBC brought back a comedy show for Sunday Night.

This game is as boring as a Steelers/Ravens matchup.

Yes there are and that's not the point. Those plays are designed a certain way so you have to get rid of the ball at the end of your drop. They spread the field so Pouty could get rid of the ball fast and so he could see the field better. He shouldn't be tucking the ball and thinking about running around all the time.

The blame also falls on Martz, though. Stubborn bitch.

Also, the Giants should be running more. Idotz.

.

I saw some Madden cheese in the first half though. Giants defenders warping through the Bears oline.

I can't decide what is more ridiculous:
This game, or Tennessee @ LSU's finish
M. Night Shyamalan directed that game, or was it a game? That ending was too perfect to not have been orchestrated all along.

Dude, Collinsworth is solid GOLD tonight. Riffin' and scattin' all over these two teams

No. When there's a CB blitz, that's a free runner that the QB has to account for. ESPECIALLY when they're spreading it. Bennett was wide open on that last one for example.

Bad O-Lines don't give you 5-10 seconds in the pocket.
Just like good QBs don't take damn near 10 sacks.

Trust me I'm a Packer fan, I'm a goddamn expert in the matter.

What a great fucking game, it almost made me forget how shitty the 49ers are.

Cutler looks defeated out there. When he ran away from that sack and flipped the ball out of bounds I could barely breath I was laughing so hard.

The Bears coaches need to study Kolb's game today during half time. Even with all the pressure the Skins got today they didnt get any sacks. 2nd half the Bears need to do nothing but 3 step drops and then dump it to the backs.

Nonsense, they're throwing to get Cutler back on the field so the defense can get back to sacking!
:lol

I couldn't pick Eli, but I forgot how bad Cutler can be. Maybe they'll make adjustments at the half. BOTH teams need to run the fucking ball.

you should never get too high or too low with a performance like this. the bears/cutler aren't THIS bad, and the giants aren't this good. this game will probably come down to the wire because the giants offense is garbo too

Been hungover all day. Can't believe we let the Saints game slip away. Dunno if you already posted the avatar Dirtbag, but if you could post it again I'll don it.

I am not sure we will see a worse half of football.

Bears are using the Rocky strategy. Where Rocky lets his opponent punch him in the face until they get tired, the Bears are letting the Giants run after and sack Cutler with the expectation that around the 15th sack they are going to start running out of gas and that is when the Bears go for the game tying FG (a game this bad should end in a tie).

Of course this plan relies on Eli and the Giants offense continuing to suck balls, but I don't think that requires a huge leap of faith at this point.

Nah I hadn't even made one yet. I thought that game was going to kill me.
