Don't want to hear shit about Jacobs anymore bros. Thanks.
Why? Because of some garbage time carries? Hanie bribed the defense to allow some first downs so he could get the fuck out of dodge without dying.

I know the game is basically over but its 4th and 18 ...why not throw it up for a big play or throw it to a spot to where maybe a Bear receiver can run...and maybe get lucky to extend the drive.... they are only down 14pts...

oh well...it just seemed like everyone gave up...even Lovie.

Bears need to bring in someone they can trust as a backup...if they have no faith in Collins.

You do realize that was Hanie right? Collins was injured as well. It should probably be criminal negligence to start a QB behind that line. :lol

At least we didn't need the refs to hand us the win!

Lol we destroyed the Lions in the first week. Out gained them 500+ yards to like 150. We self destructed the whole game in key situations like the Packers did last week. Fortunately for us though we made plays when it counted and won the game! Shaun Hill was on pace to throw for 500 yards at one point against the Packers defense today.

We made plays=made Calvin Johnson violate arcane rule?

Oh god Irvin can't stop smirking and giggling like a little girl talking about how the cowboys are in the perfect position now. Can we please go back to the weekly meltdown :lol

Giants: Its often darkest before the dawn
Consistency is the word. I can't get too excited until I see that. If we can put 3-4 games together where we show quality play on both sides of the ball and ST, I'll definitely be more apt to get really into believing this team can do something. We have tons of talent and I know when we put it together, we can be VERY good.

The only thing we've been consistent about thus far is bad special teams play and 3+ turnovers a game. I'll keep beating on the fire Tom Quinn drum. Dodge is young and I get that but play this consistently bad is on the coach. Plain and simple.

Houston next week and another opportunity to make a statement against what's believed to be a playoff bound team.

holy shit - thinking about it - maybe the cheifs are legit. OH FUUUUUUUUUUUU:lol

That Cutler montage was great. The opposite of pocket presence!

Chiefs feel more like the good Bears teams of the last decade than say, last year's Broncos. Great defense and special teams, ludicrously bad offense, keep winning games.

Then suffer heartbreaking loss to McNabb/Steve Smith/Peyton in the playoffs. Only one of those is in the AFC!

oh I know...I'm just saying, after Collins came in it seemed like they just wanted to run the ball.....and not get him in a groove with quick passes or anything....almost like they didn't want him to lose the game for them, EVEN though they were already losing....

I just feel it is a waste of a roster spot...I think players like Jeff Garcia and Tim Rattay or Brooks Bolinger would do better than some of these backup QBs taking up rosters spots for what ever reason...

I'm sure there are other fans of teams on here who don't trust their backup QBs..

I'm a 9er fan and we have F'n David Carr....f'n 9er FO/coaches purposely brought that garbage dude in just so we wouldn't call for the backup if Alex struggled early on....there were no Benefits to have him as our Backup QB if we were going into this season as a playoff team.....

we traded a good backup, who can start if need be in Shaun Hill for a 7th rd draft pick....A SEVENTH ROUND Draft pick....just so Alex didn't have to look over his shoulder...

that is our reason...but what is the reason for other "playoff" teams to have backup QBs like Todd Collins?

Just got back in and I agree with you. The moment Tynes missed that fg (which was partly on Dodge) I turned to my friend and was like, "can't we just fire the special teams coach already?."

The defense was ferocious tonight and Fewell did a great job with the front 4 against an admittedly poor offensive line. Even without Kiwi in the lineup he continued to move guys around JPP got some nice pressures. The defense bought time for the offense to get their act together in the second half.

Hopefully this win gives the Giants some confidence going into Houston next week which is going to be a hell of a challenge.

0-1 in the NFC east thats what I ment.
the east is shit this season and its still wide open Dallas played a very good game last week mean while other teams in the east looked piss poor today. Seems like a good sign to me.

:lol

Even Tuck looks like he doesn't know what the hell to do with that.
Stunner of the night: DE Mathias Kiwanuka says there's a chance he could play next Sunday in Houston. #NYG
I just hope there's validity and backing from the medical staff on this and it's not just him saying it based on how he feels. He felt good enough to play tonight and would have had that last second CAT (or MRI?) revealed the issue.

The Eagles played a very good game last week but that didn't help them today. The Colts looked awesome two weeks ago against the Giants but that didn't help them today. It's pure homerism to assume that the Cowboys are going to start dominating just because they had one good game. They are in a worse position than the Giants and Redskins right now bottom line.
