I live down in Miramar, grew up in the Miami area. I might want to move the hell out of here, but TheDrizzlerJ11 knows what he's talking about. Lots of people from up and down the east coast move down here, and most of the elderly influx goes to Palm Beach or Central/North FL.

Yeah, it's true that they have a lot of transplants, but I don't think they have a solid fanbase that's willing to go out and spend cash to watch their team play. I do recognize that there are a bunch of Dolphin fans spread across the country mainly due to Marino, my father included, but they should be drawing more local fans than they do.

WTF is Woodhead now a viable fantasy option?

No

Warm-weather sports fans always* seem less interested than people hailing from cold/crappy towns.

*Except college

So you think people from around the country don't want to see there team play the one chance a year they get? Okay...
It's sold out I don't know how else to explain this to you. It's not like it's all pats fans and there's empty seats.

Did anyone in the SoFL area watching the game see the Henne-sponsored Beverly's Jeweler's commercial? Holy shit that was awful! :lol

are you a sizist?

It's not about large vs. small. It's a weather thing. The crappy fans are usually from places like LA, Miami, San Diego, etc. The great fans are from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and other places you couldn't pay me to live. No offense...

They've been showing that all year + pre-season, it's pretty awful :lol

His wife at the end just adds another layer of cheesy.

He just won me my fantasy game and he's in the OP. 8-) Called it! He's also a tweener like Colston was in his first year so you can start him in two positions.

I hate conspiracies, but that call was insanely bad.

I'm just glad Kraft was able to get some money together, I was starting to worry about his family.

That call was nowhere near as bad as picking up the holding flag.

And Green Bay because it's all you have.
But Miami football is different. It's the only team we had for a very long time and had amazing success early in the NFLs history. We have real fans down here it's just the percentage of us second and third generation Miami residents is a smaller percentage because of how much the city has grown the last 40 years.

The Redskins are only 2-2 and still in the playoff race. Isn't it a little early for you to give up on them and start rubbing it out to Mr. Bundchen?

The Dolphins have one of the best WR corps in the league. Shame they don't have a great QB to match that.

Dude, the Dolphins didn't sell out a playoff game a few years back (Colts? Ravens? Both?). It's not a great sports town, but it's at least a place worth living.

I need Randy Moss to get a touchdown for fantasy football. Why oh why is he not getting any attention. :(
Pats are slowly phasing out the black wide receivers. There is no place for that kind of player in New England anymore.

And Henne is really getting close to a sack/fumble on some of these dropbacks...

I'm so damn nervous right now.

Ravens I think. No explanation for that but Dolphins culture is 1000x better than Heat and Marlins culture I guess is what I'm comparing. Though I love me some Heat, haven't been able to afford season tickets since we picked up Shaq though..
