Some excellent officiating at the end of the half helped a lot too. Bullshit offensive PI, not stopping the game at the 2:00 warning, mysteriously reversing a holding call.....

Dude, I have never been a Henne believer the entire time I have been posting on NFL GAF and he has been the Dolphins starting QB. The kid is an awesome backup. I reiterate I am not falling apart here. Its not one game its a pattern.

Just got back from a friends, psyched to see the win, but not much else really. The defense looked awful tonight, but better. Thankfully Henne and the special teams helped us run away with it. Big win here though.

The only reason our D got couple of those INT's is because of the pressure.

I really hope they improve our D overall.
 
Also as a non-believer myself I was very impressed with woodhead. Been here only 2 weeks and has fit right in. I think the pats could really use him for a lot of different plays.
 
I know no one cares about Fantasy Football but I just wanted to share that I was down by 55 pts going into tonights game and won by 35. I had Chad Henne and the New England Defense, game couldn't have worked out better for me :lol

Did you see the game last night? Now that's pressure. Henne didn't have all day but he had decent time on almost all throws...just horrible decisions and throws.

sorry first time posting on the gaf NFL thread(hello folks!) but this kinda irks me.


the Defense was OK today, not the best but MUCH better than the last 2 games. they pretty much took marshall out of the game (only 50 yards and no TD!) and the running game was pretty close to shut down most of the night.

I know EVERYONE loves to hate on the patriots but this was a complete game, all 3 aspects of the game were clicking tonight(after the first qtr) ESPECIALLY the ST.

I guess I am a bit biased (huge pats fan) but what can I say, when they win like this you cant help but be happy!

Its not about Henne, I dont know about him either. Its the backup QB is always better kind of mentality we have had here since Marino left. Thigpen is a backup for a reason, him starting will just make things worse. I said this earlier in the year, if we want to win more football games we start Pennington, but then we don't give Henne another full year to test him out.

I still cant believe that is the performance we put up on MNF. I feel like I need to apologize to viewers that just wanted to watch a good game. What crap. Last week it wasnt so bad cause the game was a good one and we played well for the most part. This was a usual Dolphin meltdown, we are good for these at least a few times a year.
 
One of the most infuriating and frustrating games I've ever seen. Dolphins moved the ball at will and then dumbed it up right and left. Terrible.

No matter who is the coach, we don't get it done. I am so ****ing goddamn sick of this ****. I try and try and try to stay positive and put the benefit of the doubt in this team but this is the same old dolphins just a different year. We can never win a big game and play with zero intensity when we get down. We are like a pouty little kid when we are losing and just give up.

**** Tony Sparano, **** the ST coach and **** the rest of the players. Again, sorry guys I, like yourself, have put up with this for so long and it is coming out.

I wish I wasn't born with the disease of liking a perennial loser, so much so, that I either have to watch the dolphins and "believe" or I just cannot really get into football. This franchise is a ****ing losing franchise and an embarrassment to South Florida and has been for awhile.

Sorry again, I know I am venting but I so ****ing tired of this.....Go ahead and tell me how much I suck as a fan or whatever. A man that bleeds the aqua and orange can only take so much.

And now I got to wait two weeks to get this game out of my system... sadly its at Green Bay. Holy hell. I hope the Canes beat FSU cause I getting sick of average football teams around here.
 
Does Miami have a run game anymore? I didn't watch the game but from the stats it looked like a heavy air attack from miami. Which is odd, since Henne is qb.
 
A debacle at home in Primetime for the world to see

You know, a few weeks ago we were setting up Mark Sanchez calculators to make fun of how many INT's he would throw this season.. Well a short three weeks later and the joke is on us.. Absolutely pathetic performance by our ST's and a team that simply cannot take advantage of opportunities..

I am ashamed at how we played tonight. Absolutely pathetic. This team needs to define it's identity and need to do it quickly. Our schedule gets significantly harder after the bye... And this season is in danger of rapidly slipping away.

After tonight I no longer have the confidence that this team can be successful this year.

By the way, Ronnie must have been dinged up or something. After that wildcat play in the first quarter, it seemed like he wasn't in there for a quarter or two.

This Miami team still seems competitive to me. They play like shit at home, though.

Their running game isn't that bad. As long as we block and open holes, then Brown and Williams can pull off some nice yardage. I was afraid of William's butterfingers last night.

21 points we gave up thanks to ST.

Pennington only signed on for 1 year, so it's obvious that he will most likely he will be traded when his contract is up.

I just don't get the Dolphins. We have a DECENT team.

First Tony Gilroy takes over Bourne 4, which means no Matt Damon, and now this. What an awful Monday. :(
