Is it wrong that I'm a chargers fan but my favorite player is Andre Johnson? The guy plays his heart out and isn't your typical Pre-madonna wide receiver and hell the guy gets hurt and 1 play later is hobbling his ass back onto the field because he knows the Texans need him.

Just heard Driver isn't playing this week? I mean I guess if there's any week to do it then it's this one.
please no jinx

Refer to him as your favorite player to watch. That's how I reconcile my love of Manning.

holy shit, who is the reporter freaking out about Chilly's press conference the other day? He just called him a liar!!:lol :lol

He's been playing the past few weeks?

Favre tried really hard to not say that coaching was the problem..."Sometimes the team with most talent doesn't win...(pause) the best team does." :lol

It's never wrong to love AJ :)

Would Ray Rice be worth a trade in fantasy? What about MJD? I have a ton of WRs and am looking to package one with Jahvid Best for either of these guys. Both have had disappointing years.

I got MJD for Randy Moss last week. :lol

You guys sure it's a coin flip, I'm pretty sure strength of schedule is the first tie breaker for draft position, then a coin flip. Since the Bills have one of the toughest schedules it's going to be tough to land the top pick unless they go winless, unless I'm wrong about the tie breakers.

Don't think the team is badly coached, maybe on the Defensive side a bit, but it's an all new scheme (not a fan of Edwards regardless). Since Gailey pegged Fitz as the starting QB the offense has ranked in the top 10 in certain categories, and Fitz has looked like a totally different QB from last season. On offense they're playing with a 7th round LT, a undrafted RT, a 7th round #2 receiver. Gailey's doing a pretty good job on the offensive side, I like him a lot.

You can fail Chan for a lot of things, but he knows how to handle an offense.

Unless Reggie Ball was involved.

Geez that team is ridiculous...I don't understand how that happens. :lol

I'm a mastermind of making early moves.
I'm a really good talker, I talked up some fleecing trades. Pretty much snuck this league in the face.

Dirtbag, the Steelers players are saying that the BelowAverageDome or whatever the hell the Saints dome is called, was the loudest place they have ever played in, trumping the Colts dome in 2005 when they were accused of pumping the volume with the sound system.

Is the Saints dome actually that loud? Is it that loud every game or did their fans just get geeked up for Halloween + Sunday Night Football?

While I am going to hate your team for beating mine for at least the next 4 days, I do admire a great crowd being so loud that they interfere with the visiting team's offense. It feels pretty awesome as a fan when you feel you are affecting the outcome of the game. Granted that shit didn't help against the Browns 2 weeks ago but I won't hold it against their fans for not wanting to go see that game.

Jamaal Charles on my end :D

Ditto on that, and even without a TD he put up awesome numbers last week.

Edit: I didn't read further up, as I picked up Charles in Week 2 or 3 maybe. No Randy Moss trade on my end. :lol

I just can't see how anyone would make those deals with you guys for Randy Moss, has performed way under par this season. :lol

Are you in leagues with randoms or what?

It really is that loud. The only place that has matched it for sound is Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. I can hear that static ripping sound in my ears in there on 3rd downs like you're at a concert. I honestly think its the loudest in all the NFL right now, I don't see how a stadium could even compete with a closed off dome for noise, and then you throw in 77K drunk and rowdy cajuns.. the same ones that invented the tailgate at LSU... well you should get the idea. It wasn't always this loud, 06 is when the fans started to really bring the noise. The hurricane and the chance to lose our team really ignited the fan base.

No, money league.
I know the people in my league very well and I know how to play them against themselves.
Like I know the guy with MJD didn't even want to draft him to begin with, and his record is 0-7 so I know he was desperate for something. Then I talked up how Brady hadn't been targeting Moss, and I'm so glad that Moss was a viking cuz brett Favre will keep forcing him the long ball... and BOOM, trade.

I've been looking for like 20 minutes and have found nothing that hints at this, link.

Jay Glazer from Fox Sports on his Twitter page claiming the Buffalo Bills are picking up Shawn Merriman off waivers.
Smart move. He is a washed up linebacker. They beat the Pats to the punch.

Also, after much consideration on my drive back from Philly, I have come to the conclusion that Peyton Manning is the greatest qb of all time (in the regular season). He doesn't always come through in the playoffs, but in the regular season no one I have ever seen does it better.

You know neither could I, I've heard it around here for years.. but I can't find anything either.
Maybe the cooking outside the stadium bit is what we're known for.

Please tell me this is a meme I'm unaware of or that you are making a play off of that guy saying"escape goat" yesterday

I'm pretty sure someone at every college campus in the country with a football team claims they invented tailgating.

All the old timers I ever talk to say if Marino played now he'd throw for 5000 yards every season. I didn't see his whole career so I couldn't tell you.

Did I tell you guys the story of how Dan Marino got in my face at a Borders

"You got a problem bud!? Huh?" :lol

Then the friend I was with had no idea who he was and thought Marino was David Hasselhoff and was like "David, whats your problem, man!" :lol

True Story.

They don't have him yet.

Yea this report might hurt the Titans chances as well. Another team might claim him now to keep him away from the Titans. Teams have until 3:59 to claim him right?

Why'd he get in your face?

Marino always did seem like a prick.

We were in Borders. It used to be across the street from his restuarant. He was in there with his kids an the nannie (I don't think it was his wife) I was in the music section back when people bought CDs. When I noticed it was him I stared for a few seconds, he looked at me smiled and asked me what I thought was good, he was looking at classic rock.

I answered his question and then he looked away. I stayed in the same area next to him, I didn't move after answering the question he asked me. I swear to god the next time he looks up he eyes me and is like "you got a problem, bud?!..huh..huh" I was shocked I stammered and just like walked away .

My friend Troy said something like "he doesn't have a problem David." When we got back to his car he said "Dude, dude,I can't believe you almost got into a fight hith Hasselhoff." :lol Troy really thought it was David Hasselhoff.

Oh, I thought you were guessing what he was saying next but he actually looked at you and thought you "had a problem?"

:lol :lol Awesome.
