I love how a NFL owned channel (Redzone) is prohibited by NFL rules from broadcasting an NFL game that went into OT.

I don't know if it's "so many." It's the catch rule that's become way too open to interpretation. They tried to clarify in the aftermath of all those pop up catches back in 2007 (Jenkins in Chicago) and wound up making it more ambiguous.
