I just rewound my DVR. He was just inside the tackle box and there wasn't a Packer near the ball. So, why wasn't it grounding?

Agree. I think they didn't throw the flag because Jenkins fell running an out towards that sideline?

Why do they insist on showing Wade? How the fuck do they expect him to look? It almost seems like they are rubbing it in and I dont understand why.

The Oregon Ducks could beat the Cowboys w/ Romo.

Probably Oregon State too.

As bad as the Cowboys are, that is not true at all.

Does intent matter? I honestly have no idea. Intentional Grounding is the most inconsistent call in the league. Did you notice refs only seem to throw the flag 10 seconds after the play has ended? It's uncanny.

Roy Williams, guest starring on Walking Dead tonight.

wtf these calls....

roy fell right into that. thats just unfortunate, not head hunting

Yeah, they try to decide if a player was in the vicinity and factor in falls and such....supposedly. Who the fuck knows?

Only if Josh McCown is prominently involved

The NFL really needs to make their rules more clear. We watch a combined 10 million hours a season and have no clue how these rules work.

That wasn't a dirty hit. Unfortunate but not dirty.

it was unfortunate because idiots like that keep leading with their heads and thinking the proper way to tackle is to turn yourself into a missile. Guy should be suspended a game. I'm sure he wasn't trying to hurt anyone but they need to weed that shit out. Tackle/hit with your arms and shoulders, not your helmet, meatheads.

That was awesome, the Packers guy (Medic?) came running over to check on him and try to help. I don't remember seeing that often.

I notice the Packers staff seems to do that pretty often.

Wouldnt be surprised with a suspension. Damn.

so Ez... tell us how that's not helmet to helmet and completely incidental.

What?????? When the fuck do I ever claim Packers penalties aren't penalties? That was a terrible hit and if he had a history of it (he doesn't) I would think he should be suspended. Helmet to helmet on a defenseless receiver. Atrocious play.

i'm still pissed at the bullshit grounding call against alex smith in the raiders game. no pressure at all, alex throws to josh morgan who ran the wrong route so its nowhere near him, and it gets called grounding. absolute bullshit.

then i see guys like erron rodgers do it and no flag :/

Ok, let's be real a little bit: When Collins went for the tackle, he wasn't aiming for Williams' head. Williams fell going for the ball, so that by the time Collins got there the helmet levels were even.

That said, he led with the helmet, which is stupid at this point.

there's actually a good reason for that- you often need multiples refs to confirm that all the conditions have been met (tackle box, no receiver in area, passes los).

he launched helmet to helmet into a defenseless receiver. textbook.
I don't understand this defenselessness shit, its football. you can't fire up some neon lights that say 'okay, you can hit now!'

dude aimed for his back, roy was falling backwards, this is football - shit happens
