wait, i've got Konex's powers now?

now it's all making sense to me... somehow, i have been given this power. it started in the Fiesta bowl.

i do not know what to do with it, I feel like a padawan learner. or some kind of danielson.

i need vader and miagi, stat.

i think i will become a seahawks fan, cause I'm just mad right now and they're the closest team i can think of hating. err, i mean loving [still learning the ropes here]. help me master konex to master the ways.

So now that we are ALL in agreement, I wonder if Frankman will apologize for ruining our season.
Not a chance, and you're really getting worse than maynerd on that point. :P

Don't feel bad - ever since my success with the Superbowl my predictions have been dead off.

Michigan :(

Another Julius Jones run. Each one of them is a slap in the face of Romo.

If only I could put a note on Julius' back that says "I DONT TRUST YOU!" -- coach, so Homo can see that during every rushing play.

:lol

whoever game planned for dallas really did a shit ass job.

hawks were using street free-agents in the secondary and Romo was throwing to backs for most of the night with TO and Glenn as his receivers and Witten at TE. Whoever the OC is should be fired... that was just stupid. When you fall into cliche football (we have to establish the run...blah, blah, blah) instead of exploiting your opponent's weakness, you're not going to go very far in the playoffs. TO had 1 catch against a guy who was on the couch eating chips last weekend.

i hate coaching where you only stress one point of the offense (KC did the same thing, planning to pretty much run all game and when they were stopped had nothing to counter with), which is why i think dallas lost this one.

Tony Rofl :lol :lol :lol

I was at work and i checked the score on my phone to figure out the score, but i didnt know till right now watching sportscenter how it ended. Wow :lol :lol :lol

I hope TO is getting his ppcrn rdy at home to watch the eagles beatdown the giants tomorrow

If the Giants win, they come to Chicago. If they lose, Seattle comes to Chicago.

If the giants win they play chicago if they beat chicago and seattle beats NO then the giants come to seattle.

This loss is going to take so long to get over. I have no words. Everyone I was with was in stunned silence. No one knew how to react or what to say. Call me a sore loser, but I truly believe that the Cowboys lost the game; the Seahawks didnt win the game. I don't know if I can watch another football game in a long time. holy shit.

I hope this doesnt completely mess with Romo's psyche. It's stuff like this that can really hurt a guy. I hope this motivates and drives Romo to do even better. Gilbert Arenas completely choked on two free throws last year. This year, he's playing lights out. I hope Romo can do the same thing.

Who knows, maybe the Seahawks are a team of destiny or something. They already overcame the Madden curse and the Superbowl curse.

btw, I blame this entire loss on:

I think they have a good shot at beating Chicago considering how Grossman has been, but if they play the Saints I really don't think they'll win, unless something like tonight happens.

does anyone have access to the last hail mary? a lot of people are saying terry glenn had a good shot at the ball. i hope he didnt pull a chris henry

What he did was wait behind the pile so that if the ball was tipped, he could grab it. He wasnt in good position for the initial catch

yeah, people are saying he was in good position to catch the tipped ball.

That only really helps if the ball is tipped UP. Even though it was tipped his way, it was tipped down so it didnt really matter

eh. i still think he should have at least attempted to dive for the ball. it's not like it matters or anything; i just needed some closure

i dont care if its a tabloid paper or whatever, its just flat out low to question someones manhood on the backpage. ****ing lupica...

I just got back from the game and the post game party at a friend's house... what a nail biter! I swear I was going to have a heart attack on at least three occasions throughout the game!

And what a game it was! Our defense was weak at times, but man, did they step it up in our moment of need! Lofa was incredible with that hit at the end of the game preventing Dallas from getting the first down! The safety play was insane, and Jeramy Stevens finally steps it up and catches the ball when we need him! As an aside, one of the guys I went to the game with was a student security guard at the University of Washington at the same time as Stevens and caught him nailing a female volleyball player in the whirlpool once. Somone get Jeramy another whirlpool whore!

Right before the botched field goal, I leaned over to my buddy and said I had a strong feeling that this would result in one of those "greatest NFL disasters." How right was I?

I was the Hawks fans that was upset a few weeks back. I didn't jump off the wagon by any means, I loved my team and still do, but I stated that the way they were playing, they did not deserve to win the division at that moment. I'm still feeling very iffy about our chances, next weekend is going to be extremely tough, regardless of who we play. Our offense and defense need to play much better than they did tonight if we expect to have a chance at making the NFC Championship game. In any event, we won and live to fight another day.

Oh, and in regards to the following comment:

well you're gonna be sorely disappointed tonight:D

I haven't seen Mr. Funkmastergeneral respond to this thread since making his nice little post. Enjoy the off season.

Shawn Alexander was limping off the field at one point (he was right)? What happened to him?

Shaun came back and was on the field for the next play, I think he's fine.

SEEE! It wasn't me! The Rams are dumb.

I didn't think it was very fair for you to get flack for my comments, so I stepped up and took responsibility for what I'd said a month ago.

Does anyone know what the TV schedule will be for next weekend? We're already trying to coordinate our playoff party, is there is a system or will it be announced Sunday night/Monday morning?

And as a farewell message for the night, this is to all the Hawks haters, and I know there are many of you: You've got at least one more week of knowing that we're still alive and kicking, much to your dismay. Suck it.

So the Colts-Ravens game is the early game on Saturday, I wonder what the chances of the Seahawks-Bears/Saints game being the late game on either Saturday or Sunday will be?

Hitokage said:
8pm Saturday if Seattle goes against New Orleans
1pm Sunday if Seattle goes against Chicago

1pm EST or PST? If that's 1pm EST, that kind of destroys the possibility of having a party.

I was already rooting for the Giants tomorrow, but now I'm really pushing for them!

Hitokage said:
You say that now, but Romo won't be the only quarterback in tears after Grossman throws 5 picks. ;)

Man, **** Romo...

You can sleep through the game if you'd like, your team isn't playing.

Mine, on the other hand, is still alive.

Thats cute. Win a superbowl.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I honestly see hints of Eli Manning in Romo...

INot a good thing.

is it possible that the Ram's fans are really the same person? It's the same schtict all the time. Can we get a mod check on that?

Rorschach said:
Madden curse is still legit!

Superbowl curse is a myth!

See: Bills

Seriously. I don't know who came up with that curse crap, but it ain't a curse if it's only been in affect for 5 years. The Cubs is a curse, the bambino was a curse, super bowl loser not making the playoffs since 2001 was no curse.

Lupica was also on the Sports Reporters this morning saying it was the Boys/Hawks ending was the best playoff ending since the Immaculate Reception.
