Coaching is far more of a problem... We wouldn't have had more players on the wall as the opposing team so that one guy could get a free ride to the net if we had proper coaching.

Yes it was a shitty goal, but we need better defensive coverage... We need better transition, we need better cycling, we need better zone entry. We need a more aggressive PK and improvement in our passing game to actually... You know... Score PP goals. We need focus and effort. We need some damned HEART.

Everybody and their effort looks depressing. There isn't any.

Subban really missed out on having Markov help mentor him these last two years, but when (if) Markov comes back he should really help Subban in a lot of ways.

Those constant Saniflo Toilet commercials are really apt spots to play during a Leafs game, because watching them play makes me want to shit hard enough that I wouldn't care that my toilet was grinding and pumping it through a pipe I might one day have to open and clean.
 
Nice high-stick by Jagr on Mark Stuart. Should have gotten called for that. Aside from that, good game so far. Very tense for me, considering what is riding on it. Flyers sure shoot a lot. Giroux is damn scary when it comes to that. Bryzgalov does not look solid at all tonight. Has he been this way all season or just when we play against you, Flyers fans?

Hmm... New Jersey is winning too. Good.

bryz has sucked all year.

Stuart also retaliated. not that I'm saying jagrs high stick wasn't a penalty, but they didn't call anything there, which is better than the refs calling just the peno on stuart, which happens a good amount.

I feel the refs have been pretty lax this game, which I don't mind. Reminds me of playoff hockey. Depending on how we do during this stretch, I may or may not actually see some of that first hand. Looking forward to the 3rd period!
 
Before this game I was watching Dubi talking and was getting sad that he might be part of a deadline deal. Now I couldn't give a shit. YOU DO NOTHING!

Can't believe he didn't get one there, if Subban had done that he probably would have been kicked out. Funny hearing the stars announcers tryig to imply Dallas doesn't deserve all these penalties.

I'm watching the Habs regional on TSN and I'm definitely not hearing that. The Habs are going to need a lucky bounce this game I think.
 
I wonder if this latest instance of mange will spur Burke into another one of his 'We Could Have Made the Playoffs if I traded X' speeches to the media.

When the last penalty was called the one announcer went "OH another penalty I wonder who that's against" sarcastically and they're implying that the refs are favoring the habs while dallas dishes out of their dirty shit. Announcer also said "That Emelin always gos for the big hits eh, they should use that against him and get him out of position" which is also bullshit, part of the reason he's such a great hitter is he knows when and when not to do it.
