Torture chamber!

Great game, good win.
 
Swept by the rangers. Refs ruined that game in the first 5 minutes, for either team really. Stupid calls all day.

Was kinda close on my bruins prediction.. Oh well. King henrik is going to be drinking out of the cup and complaining about something.. ;)

Still one game left in the series, at a crucial time in the season.
 
So, sorry to say this Heretic and Dastardly, but rumors are going around that Detroit would be very interested and possibly very high on the list if the Ducks come out of this road trip a seller and Selanne would want to be traded for a chance at a cup. Would love to see Selanne in a Wings jersey! :D

Rumors came about when the media started asking him if he would go to Detroit if the Ducks were out of it. This was before the game started. He said he's not thinking about that at all.

I'd be surprised to see Selanne move but it'd be a good move for the Ducks.
 
what a game. trick by cally, arty and richards have their best games in a while. rinaldo is such a punk. man simmonds is a very good player, got to watch him a lot when i lived in LA for a few years, always wanted the rangers to trade for him. this team scoring on the PP wtf? dunno they play so well against the flyers, their scoring trouble seems to go away, and this time it wasn't because of of poor philly goaltending, they actually scored some nice ones today. GG

But seriously we need something. Our defense sucks. and it doesn't sound like a bad problem to have but we have too many centers... We have couter playing on the fourth line with 2 AHL guys and plays 6 mins a game and dudes like briere or whoever on the wing being invisible as fuck since theyre not at their natural position..

That and now voracek hurt, sounds like maybe another head injury? Fucking ridiculous

We actually lack a depth in centers, we have quite a few wingers though.

Staal looked pretty good in his first game back in about a month, picked up a couple of points.

The original translation was accurate, FYI. He is quoted as saying, "Even if I get a shutout it's not enough", although he'd probably rather shove that one under the rug. Just some (understandable) damage control from Rask. I'm always surprised that European athletes seem to think that their interviews won't eventually make it back to North America.

Aw shit, I hadn't heard about Voracek. I skipped the game since the Flyers never show up for matinees in general, let alone against the Rangers.
