And that makes him so hardcore that somebody should let him talk about their wife?
No, I was just saying that not everything is an act.

As for letting him talk about Mariah, there's really nothing at all Nick Cannon could do to make him stop at this point. Eminem gets off on trolling the rich and famous.

In all honesty, the only way Cannon has a chance (he doesn't) is that if he makes a Ken Kaniff level diss track which will not only make Em look stupid but he can play it off as a joke later, case in point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8osMoXQSqI

Seriously, Ken rips Em a new one on this diss record. If Nick Cannon teamed up with him then they could produce some fire.

Do you mean before or after the producer has worked his magic on her vocal recordings?

Have you heard her live before? Or was that all the producers magic too?

And as for the Nas/JayZ stuff, even they taught it got too far with the "I left condom in the baby seats" I mean, really;insulting the mother and the child is pretty low.

Eminem is just an idiot, if Mariah wasn't married, then I guess she would have no one to "protect"her, but the girl is married, what was he expecting? He should look at his own life before talking about others

He was probably expecting Nick Cannon to react exactly the way that he did.

When doesn't he rap about his own life and or talk shit about himself?

Can't believe so many people are taking this seriously. Nick Cannon especially. I know he is trying to protect his sugar momma, but Em says some crazy shit. That is his act. What is reacting to that bullshit going to get you? Just ignore it. Not going to help your career. Then again, no telling what crazy bullshit he had to put up with from her until he wrote something on his blog.

I've heard her live performances. Twice. One was a planned performance, and she sounded good, which could be explained with either good singer-qualities or good audio-engineer mixing her line-in before it goes to the speakers/audio-in for the recording equipment.
The second one was just plain awful. Seriously, it hurt my ears.

Yeah, true that. Also, it's Nick Cannon vs Eminem, Em wins huge in any competition they can have unless it's break dancing...

I think so too. Any publicity is good publicity. But, even if Cannon didn't say anything, he would have been called a "wuss"for not stepping up to his woman. 2 wrongs and all that

When doesn't he rap about his own life and or talk shit about himself?

But he best not be crying when someone else does it. I'm pretty sure if someone came out with a rhyme about his life, that he'd be pretty angry if they did.

But I guess that's what he wanted, we're talking about him aren't we :)

Daughter or not, the huff and puff was just marketing bullshit from Shady/Aftermath to keep the stupid beef going. The entire thing was stupid, just like this is stupid, these guys are all millionaires. Eminem has probably made more money than any rapper ever. Every single rap beef that people make a fuss over is BULLSHIT. The last one that I can remember that seemed to mean anything at all was Nas/Jay-Z, and even that shit is questionable.

And Mariah Carey has (Or had, I don't really follow her like that) an excellent voice. Of all the pop vocalist (And I mean that in the strictest sense, so please don't start listing all these obscure women on me, I'm talking top 40 artist) of the last...25 years, she is up there with Whitney Houston.

there are some real beefs out there that come from people having to protect their "image"

Game and 50 come right to mind; both of them left millions on the table with their crap.

No one said his personal problems are an act. I was getting to the fact that Em isn't even close to as hardcore as his songs make him out to be.... very few rappers are, but Em above many..

Which is why Em normally raps the crazy stuff from the view of his "alter ego".

Am I the only one that sees this whole thing and says, "who the fuck is nick cannon?" Ok, I've heard of the guy but I really don't know why he's famous and/or defending hip hop. Does he rap, I've never heard his shit. Probably because it is shit?

He's like a younger Will Smith...Ok maybe not cause I think he's like 30 years old :lol
I think his acting career is more serious than his music one. He's "trying" to make himself seriously, but we all know him as a goof.

I don't think he did it just to piss Em off. He mentions Mariah in earlier songs

They call me Superman,
Leap tall hoes in a single bound,
I'm single now,
Got no ring on this finger now,
I'll never let another chick bring me down,
In a relationship, save it bitch, babysit? you make me sick,
Superman aint savin shit, girl you can jump on shady's dick,
Straight from the hip, cut to the chase,
I'll tell a mo'fuckin slut to her face,
Play no games, say no names, ever since I broke up with what's her face,
I'm a different man, kiss my ass, kiss my lips, bitch why ask?
Kiss my dick, hit my cash, i'd rather have you whip my ass,
Don't put out? i'll put you out,
Won't get out? i'll push you out,
Puss blew out, copin shit,
Wouldn't piss on fire to put you out,
Am I too nice? buy you ice,
Bitch if you died, wouldn't buy you life,
What you tryin to be, my new wife?
What you Mariah? fly through twice,
But I do know one thing though,
Bitches they come, they go,
Saturday through sunday monday,
Monday through sunday yo,
Maybe i'll love you one day,
Maybe we'll someday grow,
Till then just sit your drunk ass on that fuckin runway hoe...

It's amazing how after over a decade and several albums, some people still haven't caught on to what Eminem does and keep taking his lyrics at face value.

A lot of people ask me stupid fuckin' questions
A lot of people think that what I say on record
Or what I talk about on a record
That I actually do in real life, or that I believe in it
Or if I say that I wanna kill somebody, that
I'm actually gonna do it, or that I believe in it
Well shit, if you believe that, then I'll kill you
You know why?

But what image does Nick need to protect? He is Mariah's boy toy who has done nothing for awhile. He is now rich beyond his wildest dreams spending her money. Just sit back and enjoy. The enitre world could talk all the shit they want, fuck'em.

Just seems bizarre that he would react like this. I remember the reality show on BET about Mariah. I watched like 3 episodes to see her fine ass and couldn't take anymore. The insanity was off the scale. So maybe she pushed him into responding.

I guess Nick Cannon did not listen to the rest of the album.

On Medicine Ball Eminem says something about how it would not be an issue or big deal if you they did not fall for it but that they are too sensitive so they do.

As for Mariah she did sing that one really good diss song in response to Superman. "Tears of a Clown" I think it was called. She maybe nuts off the charts but I don't get why ppl are trying to discredit her ability to sing. Her ability to sing has always been visible even back when she was sane and not dying to take her clothes off 24/7.

I would love for Nick Cannon to team up with Rick Ross to do a rap diss record.

That woudn't be a bad Idea, him, Ross, Mariah, and Ken Kaniff can all team up against Eminem, and then Eminem can return and murder all of them.

No matter what happens with this "feud", I think it is very safe to say that Nick Cannon has won because he gets to get that on a daily basis.

On a side note, I wish Hollywood and the fashion industry would promote girls with Mariah type bodies instead of skeleton girls with cut biceps. Whatever you want to say about Mariah's music I think all men can agree that she is one fine piece of ass.

And a crazy ass Hermit.... If she hadn't become famous she would of ended up as one of those old cat lady shut ins.

Since when does being 25% African American make you black?
It's a cultural thing in the US. Tiger Woods is more asian than black, and he doesn't consider himself African American - he considers himself a mix of everything his parents were. It was his father who told him something to the effect of "when you're in America, you're black. when you're in Asia, you're asian" so that Tiger wouldn't have to deal too much with that particular race issue.

I think it goes back to the whole crazy thing about being more than 1/8 black made you black back in the day.

Tiger Woods is black whether he wants to be or not. Just like his father said.
I still think Tiger is a puss for dodging the race issue like the plague throughout his career.

But why are talking about race when this thread is severly lacking Mariah pics?

Are you guys serious?

Yeah, Im serious. He is saying that because Mariah is 25% African-American that shes a black woman and Em is racist. Please explain first of all how shes black and explain the racist part.

I love Em as a rapper... but writing a song about killing her and then letting her punk him again and again doesn't make him hardcore...

I could agree with that, and I partly have rose-colored glasses on because I've been listening to Marshall Mathers LP for the first time in ages, but yeah I didn't mean it so much as "hardcore" as much as I meant "what kind of bizarro world would this ever occur in?"

I will never discount her singing, her past body or anything like that. But I do think she is insane.

Cannon can get The Game to help him too for his dis record. Then 50 would pay 500k for a sex tape featuring Mariah and put it on his web site.

Only then would we be the true victors.

Seriously, you bumped this just to say that? I guess this is one way to promote your new song that comes out tomorrow. (You're welcome for the plug!)

Apparently, Mariah Carey has a bone to pick with rapper Eminem over things he’s said about her and her much younger husband Nick Cannon and she’s using the music video for her new song, Obsessed, to get her point across. Carey wasn’t originally tapped to play the rapper, as director Brett Ratner had casted another singing funnyman. Think you know who it was?

It was SNL and D*ck In The Box singer, Andy Samberg. He was slated to play the roll of Enimen originally, but he probably backed out because he felt the role was slated at being anti-Eminem. And let’s face it, the last thing people want to do is make themself the next big target for Eminem’s wrath, ya know?

LMAO so Mariah is actually pushing this fwd? I love her new song but I guess she realizes this is good publicity for her too.
