NIER Automata on Squarw Enix E3 Stream

are, if they are og humans or if they are possessed replicants or something.

Earth is invaded by Aliens and Emil fights them

I only read the part where
the robot from NieR joins the androids and manages to force an armistice and then merges with them while they sing "praise the Lord" in Hebrew (הַלְּלוּיָהּ) and travel around the galaxy. It was so fucking weird :D
 
The combat looks so amazing. I also like that you have full control over the direction of your dodges. The dodge animation looks really smooth as well. If Persona 5 wouldn't exist, this would be my most wanted game for 2017.
 
Looked great, always had confidence in it with the platinum name attached.
Hell even if they still went with jank for combat I would have lapped it up.
I drink Yoko Taro's koolaid.
 
My only issue with what has been shown is that your moveset seems to far outstrip the capabilities of the enemies.

I hope there is a big jump in speed of enemy attacks and aggression the higher you go up in difficulty.

shades are the original humans. Replicants are just vessels that got a sentient later on (at first they were mindless). Shades are literally just trying to get back into their bodies, because that was how the Project Gestalt worked. Separate the shade (like the soul) from the infected humans and put them back into a new non-infected body.

By killing the shade you kill the real human.

Also, Replicants can't procreate, neither can't coexist without a sane shade because they get the Black Scrawl. By killing shades you fuck up humanity.

EDIT: Also, shades are agresive cause they're relapsing due to Gestalt Nier, thehey re not bad.

I only have one concern from everything I have seen, which is really saying something, but how useless the AI looks for the non-player character.

I know all that (you made some mistakes though), I still hate them
and I am glad Nier wiped them out, they didn't deserve to live.
 
Anyone else notice that the stage opened up just as the footage cut off?

I guess it gets even crazier from that point since it seemed that the bullet patterns were getting more elaborate as the fight went on.
