No you're right, it was originally the 15th and they delayed that before the 15th came around and made it the 17th. And yesterday nothing showed up, so now it's the 22nd that the content will allegedly be released.

...a wallpaper and a screensaver for registering on the site. You can also participate in some sort of online contest, where you are encouraged to get your friends to sign up and play some sort or web-based game. The winners get an Xbox 360 Elite or some shit.

I have a feeling that the demo in May will go a long way towards increasing public awareness of the game (a la Crackdown).

I just wish they'd give us an estimate for when in May they'll release the demo.

Now that I think about it, there really haven't been too many great demos so far this year. NG2 should hopefully reverse that trend.

Well, the site has some redeeming features. It confirms the Vigoorian Flail and Windmill Shuriken are back, and we get to see the Art of the Piercing Void and Art of the Flame Phoenix in action for the first time.

Still, I want to see some new content to show up on the XBLM (besides the demo in May).

Microsoft today announced the release date for Ninja Gaiden II, in development by Team Ninja and exclusive to the Xbox 360. It'll be available across Europe from 6th June for an estimated retail price of £44.99.

Anyways, I'm glad to see that the Windmill Shuriken is back as I always liked it, and with the dismemberment direction of Ninja Gaiden II, I'd miss it greatly if it wasn't there... especially the Vigoorian Flails as well...

And I love how the clips show that all of the projectiles can be charged for the Ultimate Techniques like IGN said...

Loving the new Ninpo as well - nice to see the Art of the Piercing Void in action, though you can see this is it without the upgrades...

I've never played NG:Black, but I think the weapon set in NG2 totally eclipses the NG weapon set.

The Tonfa and Kusari-gama in particular look so much fun to use. In NG I stuck to the Dragon Sword for the entire game, but I'll definately be changing up weapon sets in NG2.

The weapons I used were the Falcon's Talon, Dragon' Claw & Tiger's Fang, Vigoorian Flail, Fiend's Bane Bow, Windmill Shuriken and the Art of the Wind blades...

BTW, this update pretty much confirms that the Achievement list is real, because as far as I know, it was the first listing of the Art of the Flying Phoenix and the Art of the Piercing Void...

The ever watchful folks over at 360Sync recently spotted a new Ninja Gaiden II standee at their local GameStop. At first glance it appears to be nothing more than your typical standee, but look closer and you can see glory. Yes, that is a Ninja Gaiden II Xbox 360 (and it appears to be an Elite at that). GameStop will apparently be giving these consoles away -- how many we don't know -- sometime in the near future.
