sadly I agree with this. as good as it looks, I can't justify supporting this release at full price after being treated so poorly with the vanilla release on xbox 360.

The game may as well be an exclusive, perhaps the only game that validates Reggie's weird insistance that the Wii-U ports of older software qualify as "new games". Yes this trailer did make the game look MUCH better than the vanilla version, but to those of you buying the Wii U, I would seriously wait to see how it turns out before you spend your money on it. Because it could be wasted.
Vanilla was an awful train wreck of a game.

I was under the impression that Nintendo games didn't go down in price because they sold well and had long legs.

I don't see that being the case with this game.

Most likely. It is well known that when Nintendo is publishing they oversee some parts of the project, at the very least.
