Nintendo Direct 2012.6.22 - Jun. 21, 11PM EDT

Kirby collection case looks cool... Somehow this collection looks much better than Mario's... and that's their strongest mascot D: how weird lol

Nintendo knows they can shit in a box and slap Mario's name on it and sell 5 million. Not so much the case for other franchises.

Worst timed and marketed game ever? A MMO game for a dead system with horrible online. And people wonder why Japan companies are in the shitter.

would have been smart to move that game to the wii u...but i guess backwards compatibility still sell (fucking sony)

same for pokemon to the 3ds....wtf???

The Nintendo Direct itself will probably be 20-30 minutes, followed by the Game Center CX stuff to round out the 53 minutes.

Having mixed feelings about that Smash Bros info. Although to be honest, doesn't really mean jack until I see actual pics and gameplay.

Project Sora developed Smash Bros. Brawl (20 hirees), but werent officially known as project sora yet. Kid Icarus was the first official game.

But Project Sora only has like 30 staff. So they hire multi-companies on their games to have 200 man development teams. Brawl, Kid Icarus, New Smashes all will have the 30 core Project Sora staff and the usual 3-5 companies contracted to assist.

Seriously, there better be a Tales character or two in the next Smash!

We all know Sakurai/Sora will be in charge of the design and Bandai Namco will be the code monkeys, anyway.

It's coming to Wii U too, but not every Wii owner is going to insta-upgrade to the Wii U. So both platforms is what they're doing

Dragon Quest X is coming to both Wii and WiiU (for people saying It should of been moved up to Wii).

What's this about Smash Bros?
Namco is the formally announced co-developer. I can't think of a reason they'd do this other than what Namco has to offer, experience from Tekken and Soul Calibur. I'm sure Sakurai will make sure it turns out fine regardless of what changes he wants to make.

Lots of DLC on the way.
