Why would anyone want this? A marginally improved remake for a device with small screens seems like a waste of resources to me. If you're going to remake an old game, at least do it for the most powerful system at your disposal.

Because I've never played it all the way through, the touch screen makes item management a lot better, and it's NOT a huge waste of resources because it's not as intensive as making a whole new game or making an insane HD remake.

Also the 3DS is in a hell of a lot more homes than the Wii U and Nintendo could actually make some money by making it.
