Nintendo Downloads - September 2013

I know that occasionally they have a ''sales'' category but I would like a permanent button on the bottom row, preferably next to the ''New Releasess'' button.

I just do a search for 'sale'. It pulls up every item that's on sale on both the 3DS and Wii U eShop.

Hmmm, what's wrong with the quality? It's fine here.

Since the beginning every video I've watched has had pretty bad compression artifacts, in dark scenes especially. I'm obviously not expecting HD quality but I see no reason why I can't get artifact free 240p video on a 20Mbps connection. Quite a few eshop videos look much better than Netflix (the new Batman trailer is one example).

Edit: Just realized you were talking about the Wii U version.

I really dig the new icons

Yeah, they're pretty cool.

Man is hate the new buttons (PAL eShop) , they look low-res and ugly as sin on the 3DS XL touchscreen. I really prefer the old design.

I know. Did they only test them out on a 3DS and not actually on the XL?!

Super Street Fighter IV 3D is available next week for ¥2,000 ($20) on the eShop. Expect it in the west at a similar price soon.

Heads up, 3DS has a really quick update. Though I checked & the eShop doesn't have those icons.

Edit: Another "System stability improvements and other adjustments" update. Nothing to see here.

Huh, so Bike Rider DX is that ridiculously popular game in Japan? I guess I should check it out.

edit: I bought it :b music is catchy!

I've almost maxed out my 32GB SD card for my 3DS...so the next step is getting a 64GB SD card. However they are all SDXC..I've seen mixed reports but no really concrete evidence. Is anyone utilizing 64GB or higher on their 3DS?

Works fine, just gotta format it to FAT 32.

The real question is how the hell are you at 32 GB? I've got most of the best games digitally and I'm only at 20 GB or so.

Bike Rider is pretty fun. The Ram Rider stage is amazing.

$5.99 is too much, but it's worth it for $2.99, easily.

Thinking of getting the original Shantae, how is it different from the dsi one? Already played the dsi version and found it pretty boring and bland, the funny thing is I usually love the metroidvaniaesque type of games.

What is Toki Tori 2 exactly?

Played for about 15 minutes and I have no idea what I'm doing. Well almost, it's basically a puzzle platformer, with one big interconnected world I think. No tutorials or indication whether you're even doing the right thing or not, but I think I've got the general idea down.

A "platformer" that plays more like a puzzle platformer since you don't jump. You navigate through a Metroidvania open world and solve puzzles to move on to other areas. Little birds will give you "upgrade" whistle tunes in order to do more things and advance. I haven't played too much of it but I bought it with the sale and have enjoyed it so far. It can confusing figuring some things out since the game doesn't real explain some things. I like it better than the original PC/Wii game, which was more level based.

If Street fighter was £10 I would double dip just always have it on me.

Is star wars Pinball the DLC for Zen Pinball or is this a new game Completely?
