And is this the one thats giong to be online?

Can someone briefly explain what that Contact game is about? By just looking at the two pages of scans, it looks pretty cool! Seems like an RPG (HP meter). What else? Also, is it getting a NA release?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Suda 51 game (Grasshopper Manufacturer).

Previously made Killer7.

Also developing Rev game.

Contact uses Nintendo Wi-Fi connection, woohoo!

It's like an action RPG, your a scientist and a boy. I think its something like, you crash land on a planet and the top screen follows one character, the bottom another. The two characters never really meet, but they do things in the world to help one another out along their journey. Two screens, two different storylines, but 1 game.

So you make CONTACT on this planet, something along those lines.
Don't really know how it works.

Sounds interesting, gonna have to go do some research on it. Also, WFC?? That's awesome! Could do some exploring with friends ala MMORPG!

*prays for NA release*

:lol watching those scans make me want all those games, too bad some of them won't even be localized for an american release :(.

Pokemon Ranger looks great. It's finally starting to look a bit more detailed than previous games. That stack of hay looks great.

Some of these games I want so damned badly. Contact looks gorgeous, and I absolutely love the Earthboundish style -- I can't wait to see what the creator of Killer 7 can do with a quirky style like this.

Xenosaga I & II looks great. Awesome anime, great sprites, and I've been wanting some more really good traditional turn-based RPGs for the DS. Yggdra Union continues to remind me a lot of Ogre Battle, which is definitely nice.

Pokemon Ranger, Lost Magic, and Iron Feather appeal to me as well. I'm still not sure what to make of Ys Strategy, though - I would've preferred a Strategy RPG to a RTS.

does Nintendo make anything other than DS games anymore?

Um... I believe only a single one of those games (Pokemon Ranger) is made by Nintendo. The others are all third party.

Contact is made by Grasshopper Manufacture (published by Marvelous), Lost Magic is Taito, Iron Feather is Konami, Ys Strategy is Falcom/Marvelous, Xenosaga is Monolith Soft/Namco, Yggdra Union (which is a GBA game) is Sting, Baten Kaitos II (which is a GCN game) is tri-Crescendo/Monolith Soft, Nobunaga DS is KOEI...

So what's your point? And yes, Nintendo still makes non-DS games.

does Nintendo make anything other than DS games anymore?

They're dropping the GameCube like a ton of hot bricks (besides Zelda and a few others of course), but do you really blame them when they have one of the hottest portable systems in quite some time on their hands, and their next-gen machine coming out next year?

Otherwise, Contact looks awesome. I'm really interested to see how these online elements work out.

Internally? Not really...

-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (EAD)

Game Boy Advance

-Mother 3 (EAD)

Nintendo DS
-Eigo ga Nigate na Otona no DS Training: Eigo Tsuke (EAD)
-Eyeshield 21: Max Devil Power (EAD)
-Magical Vacation: Itsutsu no Hoshi ga Narabu Toki (B2B)
-Metroid Prime: Hunters (NST)
-New Super Mario Bros (EAD)
-Pokémon Diamond / Pearl Version (Game Freak)
-Pokémon Ranger: The Road to Diamond and Pearl (HAL)
-Tingle RPG (EAD)
-Wishroom (EAD)

Thanks Neo!

Gotta say as a DS fanboy some of these games are abit underwhelming, it's like some of them are aimed at kids, Lost Magic for example.

Contact looks awesome though, wonder if it will get a US release, really interested in the concept behind the design. Really want to know how it will use wifi.

Xenosaga is turning out better than I expected, the PS versions look so so bland with horrible looking character models, anime-type characters will be much more appealing. Ditch the loading etc and I might just snap these up.

Nintendo DS
-Eigo ga Nigate na Otona no DS Training: Eigo Tsuke (EAD)
-Eyeshield 21: Max Devil Power (EAD)
-Pokémon Ranger: The Road to Diamond and Pearl (HAL)
-Tingle RPG (EAD)
-Wishroom (EAD)

Do we really know they are developing those games? Tingle and Wishroom we really know nothing about, and it's been said that Ambrella is developing Pokemon Ranger. And I know that translation game is being developed by Plato.

nobunagas ambition, ROTK and y's?

yes please?

oh and contact looks hot as well. kerokero7 might be good too.

Wow, Xenosaga now actually interests me. I was disappointed with the presentation on the first batch of shots. Now the dual screen shots make it seem pretty nice and it seems to work having the upper screen for dialogue/cinemas.

Contact: please come out outside Japan. Pretty please.

You totally forgot about Chibi-Robo and, even worse, Odama. You should go and die now.

Or aren't those games developed internally?
