Go to your User CP at the top of the page, you will see who quoted you and in which thread. It's a new feature.

It works OK thou, there are plenty of quoted posts that doesn't appear there for some reason. Maybe because the person replying edited the quote somehow?

I really hope the cape from Super Mario World makes a return in this new 3D Mario, personally.

No thanks. Tanooki suit is better for 3D Mario since you can't go as far as you can with the cape.

Nah, it just happens at random.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. But how would lighting make the game better? Are there any good examples of stylized games with impressive lighting effects?

Only better in the visual "WOW this is getting my attention" way, I can't think of many stylized games with amazing lighting, this is their chance to impress. :D.

The gameplay is another matter that I will leave to EAD, I'm sure they will think of something. :)

From my experience, multiquotes, in any shape or form, don't register. Same with edited quotes. Other than that it's a very nice tool.

3D Mario is easily my most anticipated game from Nintendo this E3. I can't wait to see what they come up with next, they always seem to catch a sense of pure fun that few games seem to match (especially Galaxy 2!).

But then at the back of my mind, there is the small worry they might just go for Galaxy 3. No doubt they could make it great again, but it would be safe and disappointing not to see them do something different.

Yeah it's better than nothing. Comments tend to get lost in big threads, especially ones close to E3 or other big events, so it's a very helpful tool.

The ability to have indefinite flight in a 3D Mario game would open up some more ideas to experiment with. I'd love to see what they could do with it.

How is Europe NintenGAF dealing with the Nintendo Direct? Since it's at 4pm during workhours.

I'm on placement all of E3 week. I won't get home until around 6 each day.

I miss the Direct and GAF's reaction as it goes live. Makes me sad.

Will watch as soon as I get home mind you and then flood the thread with rabid out of context comments.

Galaxy 2 is the worst 3D Mario by far, while Galaxy 1 is the best. 3D Yoshi makes everything worse.

For some reason I just can't imagine it. Yeah resolution bump would be nice but the SMG series is really one of those that i cannot imagine ever vastly improving upon. Maybe they'll go with an SMG/SM64 route?

Well if you're talking about art style then yeah Galaxy looks absolutely gorgeous and is one of those games that will never age but I guess we'll have to wait and see how EAD will use the new hardware besides the expected resolution bump.

My guess is that we'll be pleasantly surprised in two days with the new Mario,
also there's Bayo 2 and Retro's new game. Hype!

Stupid shitty fucking LA timezone. Gotta be up by 2:30am Tuesday to watch Microsoft's thing, 6:00am for EA, 8:00am for Ubi, and then 11:00am for Sony. Then an 13 hour break until Nintendo's thing, which lands directly on midnight Tuesday/Wednesday.

It seems there are going to be 4 Miis distributed through SpotPass during E3 to our StreetPass plazas. Not sure if this counts Iwata.

This is all according to the Facebook tease.

I'm super sad Iwata keeps ignoring my 3DS D:

Edit: I probably dont deserve his love anyway D:

I imagine something like Kameo/Banzo Kazooie: N&B level tech running at 60fps with the masterful art style of EAD...yeah it will be glorious.

Hmm. For some reason I thought there was something in the eshop where you could stream it without using the web browser.
All direct videos pop up on the eShop shortly after.

Yeah it really sucks. Japan is only an hour behind the East coast so its not even better here. Yay for a week with a fucked sleep cycle.

On an off note, man, are AC:NL's digital sales (in America) going well. It's already sold about as much as Paper Mario: Sticker Star did all-time.

Animal Crossing really is the perfect game to get digitally. I usually massively prefer having a physical copy, but even I'm going digital this time - having it on the system at all times is going to be amazing.

On the site you Go to for Nintendo news it seems they have a list of the best buy demos. Take it with a grain of salt obviously but the games listed are New Super Luigi U, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, and Wind Waker.

This is what you get for living on a rock in the middle of the ocean, you maniac.

You know the more I think of it the more I think it could be fake. The reason I say this is because they're all games we've known about for awhile. Why keep the demos a secret if they're games we already know about?

Serves you right for living in a dangerous prison colony! At least you wont have to rush to write a big article about Retro Mario Kart since you already know that is coming.

Follow the sources. It started at Reddit from what I can tell.

Looks really fake to me.

It is also worth noting that Pikmin 3's logo is the old one and not the final one, and I would think Wind Waker would have a subtitle of sorts for the remake.

Not to mention Best Buy would be in DEEP SHIT for leaking Mario and Mario Kart's name! O_o Which would be ideal demos.

Posted this in the other thread:

This site says one of its sources is claiming that list is real.

UPDATE: One of our sources has confirmed to us that this list is indeed real.

Seems like a really underwhelming poster though. I really doubt that is what they would use a promotional material to get people to try out the demos.
