Nah, imo they'll announce a 3DS Direct. We'll probably see some footage or a sizzle reel on the E3 Direct though, 3 mins more or less.

Seriously. E3. The last of us. Animal Crossing. Man of steel. All in the same week. In fact The last of us, ACNL and MoS all on the same day in the UK. Best week ever?

This week really is something else, just wish Summer classes weren't starting. Also Before Midnight goes wide on Friday (in NA), making for one of the greatest trilogies of all time.

NoJ, NoA and NoE all say it's focused on the Wii U.

The 3DS will likely have it's own thing, if not just be relegated to press packs since it essentially had its own mini E3 in the latter half of April

I'm hoping for an announcement of a 3DS software showcase tomorrow morning.

If some of that is A Link to the Past 2 and Pokemon X&Y I'd be fine with that.

I would rather have a separate event and/or Direct. I feel like both have had ample time in the spotlight already and WiiU needs as much content/time as possible to convince people to purchase the system.

Nintendo will probably hold a separate 3DS event/stream just like last year, and most likely Wednesday at that. I wouldn't expect any real surprises beyond a surprise DQVII localization announcement. Just more info on Mario Party, Yoshi's Island, a Link to the Past II, and the account/Miiverse announcement.

The direct tomorrow is really about the summer update and pikmin. They will also announce directs at the end of the week for 3ds and Wii fit U.
