I'd be totally fine if they just spice up MK7 a bit for console standards and then simply go nuts with track design and various art styles (paper mario, yoshi's island, 8-bit, 2D/3D switch, etc)

I think it might be pure chaos at Best Buys this coming week for the Nintendo E3 demo event. I was just on their site and noticed this quote: "Each store will use one existing Wii U demo station featuring four unreleased titles. Wait and gameplay times may vary according to store location. Best Buy and Nintendo will provide activities for consumers in line."

Likewise. I'm kind of sick of the visuals we've been getting with the past few Mario Karts. I just hope it's different enough to at least peak my interest because I don't care for it at the moment due to low expectations.

Cell shading would definitely look nice. Only four more days to go.

I'd be curious about seeing some retro courses in an HD makeover, but yeah, the series has been mulling about with new ones for long enough.

Remake Block Fort for Battle Mode but yeah, all new tracks other than that.

You're probably right, though, I can definitely see them giving us an entire DLC filled with race courses and battle stages as well rather than individual courses.

I'd also like less reliance on retro stages. I want stages that explore sectors of the Mario universe. While I enjoyed Coconut Mall (I just really liked the shortcut for some reason), I'd like more stages akin to that Airship Stage.

Also, please include a Last Man Standing mode for Balloon Battle. I'm tired of these timed matches.
