Nintendo September Conference Bingo Card Thread

I tend to run out of ideas when making these

I don't have time to make up a new set of rumours for it, but you can use my bingo card generator from E3, I suspect a number of the entries would still apply (unfortunately, there's a mix of Wii and Wii U entries, too):

There's 'easy' and 'hard' entries for both my own list of rumours and a collation of GAF's E3 rumours.

Why would you do that? said:
Someone mentioned Panel De Pon. Now all I want is Panel De Pon, with Lip & friends in it (like the SNES and Gamecube one). I'm guaranteed to be disappointed now. :(
That was me. Tetris Attack is my favorite puzzle game and I'd prefer it if they kept the original cast and aesthetic in rather than hastily replacing it with Yoshi/Pokemon clip-art.

I HOPE I WIN!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)
I'm rooting for you

I'd make one of these myself, but I honestly have no clue what to put on there. I predict herping, derping, surprises and shenanigans.

He's gonna rise and bring peace to the console wars, through the power of gangster rap.

*hug* to anyone still hoping for a Pokemon MMO. I'm one of you.

It'd be cool to have one on Wii U but release expansions (like the Gold & Silver era, etc)

Going off one of the bingo cards, what's the story with "IGN being pissed at ShockingAlberto"?
ShockingAlberto said he had some rumors from a source and posted them (mods were okay with this). IGN took this as news and posted it on their site.

the meltdowns are going to be epic going by what people are expecting.
Despite making a bingo card, my expectations are really low. I don't expect much, but I decided it wouldn't hurt joining in and add in some reasonable guesses.

Here's mine, I should have had a spot for 'Whatever they announce is 6 months away anyway' or 'More things announced in the future without a specified date'.

Ugh, all that and you have to misspell "Disappoints" =/

What were the rumors he posted?

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, show how much I effort I put into it, just like Nintendo.

New Contra, Castlevania and Fire Emblem I believe.

All of which are going to sell so well that it will turn around the 3DS from zero to hero. All of those franchises have tons of selling power.

More like you had "diss points" amirite? 'Cause no Nintendo announcement will make GAf happy...

Dito @expectations, which is why I don´t take the effort to do a proper bing card for this event. I just don´t think there´ll be enough stuff to warrant making one. Still, I think an Endless Ocean for 3DS *could* happen. Both Wii-games came out of left field when they were (each) revealed at one of Nintend´s fall conferences.

I love Mother but I naturally avoided putting it on my list since as far as I'm concerned the series is finished and already got a proper send-off.

Also Tetris 3D keeps making me think of Tetrisphere. They need to remake that for the 3DS shop!

Man, that took forever to come up with enough things to fill the board.
If Pokemon Snap 2 is announced I will cry tears of joy. Of course, this probably won't happen. :(

Yeah, their inability to single-handedly turn around the 3DS's fortunes precludes anyone from being excited about them.

All 5 people (per franchise) are allowed to be excited about it, go for it.

Did my best to mix the easy predictions with the hard predictions. Also tried to keep it somewhat reasonable. Except MML3 being uncancelled, that's just wishful thinking ._.

So you'd rather see garbage that sells well announced than a gem with limited appeal?

No I'd rather see games of both limited appeal and broad appear that are gems and sell well. It's not too much to ask for.

you're still recovering from the analog shite?

It's going to be Monster Hunter, no one else will use it just like the rest of Nintendo's addons. Who cares?

so why you so moody little kitten?

Reading all of these, and all I feel is anti-hype. I really think this is going to focus on the bedpan and Monster Hunter.

They might as well just announce the revision. After announcing such a cumbersome add-on, everyone is going to be either expecting the new revision with the analog stick or waiting on it anyway. As a 3DS owner, I'm so disappointed with the way they handled all of this that the only thing that could make me happy, an avalanche of games, is the thing that I'm not expecting.

Because despite all the progress Nintendo made in the last five years, they've just put themselves back where they were before because of their own stubbornness.

This time they just have a ton of money in the bank.

Also: Nintendo Australia.
