Yes but I want to play it in 4K day one.You do realize that the new Switch is not a new system itself and just an upgrade.....But okay be there day 1 * rolls eyes *
??? You mean "much more powerful"? Cuz every upgrade to the Nintendo handheld systems was a minor upgrade thus far. But this is a new leadership so i am hopeful. You can be lucky if that thing is more powerful than the original Switch.
400usd + VAT399 euro = 485usd
That's insane isn't it?
I think DLSS is i assume and they are apparently changing the the left keys to a directional pad. What's the gimmick? There is no way Nintendo is going to release this as just a more powerful iteration. They always slip something in.

Wasn’t Vita maxing out at 540p and had no HDR?Your putting too much faith in an old nvidia chip. It is going to be using DLSS for sure because there's no way natively they could achieve any local rendered 4k even if it was scaled.
I'm more bummed that the screen is 720p even though its a OLED. Kind of sad that screen spec wise it's getting what Vita had back in 2013.
We will see how drunk they are off theirSwitch sales. To be fair in their minds people are paying £229+ for Switch now, a slightly beefed up Switch with a 720p OLED display, support for 4K rendering in docked mode, and improved dock in their mind is worth £349. Maybe this will give them a reality check or they will think they can raise prices more in the future with a true successor. How many of y'all wanna bet that it won't even be XBOX ONE level?
Unless the games are hitting 1080p on handheld a 720p screen is fine. I'd rather the devs target 720p and focus on frame rate and effects.Your putting too much faith in an old nvidia chip. It is going to be using DLSS for sure because there's no way natively they could achieve any local rendered 4k even if it was scaled.

I'm 95% sure it will be Xbone level, at least in docked mode. Nvidia flops > GCN flops, so something like 1 TF should be enough to beat Xbone. Also the CPU will be much better of course. How many of y'all wanna bet that it won't even be XBOX ONE level?
With dlss will run every game at a higher resolution than the xbox one. Doesn't need to be "stronger"How many of y'all wanna bet that it won't even be XBOX ONE level?
Camera for AR.What's the gimmick? There is no way Nintendo is going to release this as just a more powerful iteration. They always slip something in.
Sure. Much more powerful, like the posts on forums.??? You mean "much more powerful"? Cuz every upgrade to the Nintendo handheld systems was a minor upgrade thus far. But this is a new leadership so i am hopeful.
Tflops aren't the entire story, though. Stuff like CPU IPC and clockspeed, mem. bandwidth, amount of RAM, etc. still contribute to power. I'm expecting 1 extra teraflop, but will they lift the tide on all other fronts as well? We'll have to see...I'm 95% sure it will be Xbone level, at least in docked mode. Nvidia flops > GCN flops, so something like 1 TF should be enough to beat Xbone. Also the CPU will be much better of course.
Handheld screen will likely stay at 720p. Docked it will be upscaled to 4K via DLSS. These are pretty solid details. Some of the expectations you all have are insane. It will likely be a solid 1080p machine with games that go to 1440p upscaled. Higher frame rates as well. if you are expecting more than that you are betting against yourself. Not saying it won’t be more, I am saying its not likely.
For a $350-$400 machine that's pretty good. It won't look like a blurry mess on a 4k tv that's what matters. Some of the expectations you all have are insane. What kind of CPU core can we expect? An A72?399 is expected if the console is what we believe it is: basically a ps4 with DLSS and a much much better CPU than the Jaguar shit, all fitting inside a glorified tablet with an updated screen.
Works for me.
Dayyum the champignon edition
I will buy it if they push 3D again.
