My console just came in from Amazon Logistics (dispatched 7:30pm yesterday).

Does anyone else kickstand fall just open on it's own? I can't get mine to close properly, any movement and it falls open.

I wouldn't mind getting a replacement though it's a same I won't be able to transfer my saves over to the new unit.
 
Instead of going to Game, I decided to reserve BoTW, a pro controller and another set of Neon joycons at Argos online so I don't have to worry about stock shortages at Game anymore. As soon as the Switch arrives today, I'm heading to Solihull to pick the rest of my stuff up and Bomberman should be waiting for me when I get back.
 
Royal Mail tracking number from NUK still says
Status: Sorry - we don't recognise that reference number.
And post has been with no Switch. Hopefully tomorrow...
 
Anyone had their pro controller from Very show up today? Doesn't look like mines will be here till Monday since it's been sitting in a depot since 5am.

The lesson I've learned today is: just reserve and pick up from Argos. Could have had my Switch/Pro Controller/Zelda by 9 from my crappy po-dunk local Argos that's basically a walkable distance away.

That's what a lot of people are saying they were shipped via 48 not 24, so Nintendo lied.

Mean while we've got people who have had their nintendo order shipped via Yodel and Hermes despite getting tracking codes from RM that didn't work.

Or, like me you could have a tracking code that works, but says they didn't even receive the parcel.

Frankly I'd never trust Nintendo with a console launch again, what a total fucking mess. I wouldn't have minded the lack of communication from them over the past few days if they'd have shipped them all out with tracking that works so we all know whats happening. However this is just fucking ridiculous.

I don't know WHO has my Switch at the moment. Any of them could have it, and I'm totally in the dark.

Mine is scheduled for delivery today and is apparently out for delivery.

Normally these guys do multiple deliveries throughout the day, so it may show up later on.
 
Got an email from ShopTo. DPD delivering between 6pm-7pm.Having taken a day off work I wouldn't have been happy.

But Royal mail just turned up with my Switch from Very. So I'm in a better mood :). ShopTo's can go back.

I've had delivery notification for everything except the Switch itself, and it might be because of the way Nintendo UK have bumped the priority of the packages with Royal Mail.

Jesus Christ. I'd been holding off on breakfast all morning as I knew as soon as I started cooking the guy would rock up but in that case I'm just gonna stop sitting and looking out the window lol. I think this is the last time I do this online business, much prefer just going to the shops as soon as it opens, too many wasted hours this way!
 
Arrived from Nintendo store, as mentioned though my tracking number worked and had a text this morning saying it was out for delivery

I think if you reserve it online, you have two days to pick it up in-store, but if you pay for it online at the same time, you get a week to pick it up. That's what it said when I was ordering my stuff online.

Wow, not only did the clerk not charge me for Zelda, he also appears to have given me the completely wrong switch. I ordered a grey one but I just noticed the one in my bag is a red and blue one >.<
 
I like that almost all the news in the news section of the Switch is written by someone called Amelia. This is a very Nintendo thing to do. It makes the news seem more inviting to read.

I am going to buy Shovel Knight and Zelda soon, and do some housework as they download.
 
So I guess my housemate did order 1-2-Switch to the right house, it's just turned up. No Switch at the moment so I guess I can just look at it for a bit.

Never ordering from Nintendo store again. Tempted to just go to Argos when I finish work and send Nintendo their console back whenever it arrives...
 
Does anyone know how GAME would be delivering the SE of BotW? It says on GAMEs website that orders between 79.99 and 149.99 are via Hermes and that I should have a delivery number to track but I don't have anything like that. Just a bit confused as to how it's going to arrive.

If your code is dead it's probably via Hermes or Yodel instead.

My friend has got out of bed now, his box only had his switch and he's had notification saying Zelda is coming tomorrow. They were on the same order but the Switch was sent RM and the game Yodel. WTF.

Picked up my haul this morning from Game. So happy. :)

Haven't played anything yet but did download both Shovel Knight Treasure Trove and Fast RMX. First Nintendo console since Gamecube so I've dived all in (poor wallet) :D

I've got Zelda via Royal Mail today (WiiU yesterday) but as my Switch has no tracking it looks like a courier for that.

I hope not. The couriers all sub-contract round here, so it'd be a miracle if it arrived today.
 
DPD must be having a busy day, still no timeslot and they're not even responding to tweets, this never happens

Just glad its only Amiibo they're delivering
 
Well, Royal Mail post lady arrived and I got my games. I guess that's something.

Still no console to play them on though...
