Save transferring is nice, but how does it work? If it just means a 3DS-style system transfer, that's not really solving the problem of being unable to back up your saves.

Transfer is not backup, obviously. Hopefully online backup of saves starts with the paid online service.

That seems to be their naming method. 3DS is up to firmware version 11 or something, while PS3 never made it to 5.

If you have a local wireless group, and someone's game isn't updated, then the update will be locally downloaded from the other Switches.

They could clarify it a bit better, I think they mean that It can add the 30 seconds before hand to your video you are about to record. But I honestly aren't sure.

Only 30 second clips would be a bit weak, but it is all you could do with Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U...

I personally like that. I am more likely to record something that just happened to me than to premeditate a scenario.

This is exactly what's happening here.

Shadowplay can be extended to like 20 minutes though. I've not found anything that specifically mentions the Tegra chip being limited to 30 seconds either.

Nice, they've even got save paused video to screenshot. Doubt they can get the functionality much improved if this is the Tegra doing its thing. Will be exciting to see what the Switch 2 can handle recording-wise
