A new game was released in Europe this week, Worms: Open Warfare 2 which has done a pretty good start, see more below. Soon the new Pokémon Dungeon games, with online, will be released in Japan, which will be very interesting to follow!

After a few weeks outside the chart, Mega Man Star Force is all off this week. Madden NFL 2008 for Wii falls off the Top 10 as well, being 12th this week. It'll be interesting to see if upcoming sports games from EA, FIFA and NBA Live, can have the same kind of success online.

What's more, we had the most active day so far on the service this week, as I recall it. Saturday 897,780 connections were made. I can't remember that number being any higher previously, but I'm not able to check up on it.

The complete chart for week 35 of 2007 can be seen underneath.

Please note

- The number of connections listed in here is not unique connections, just the total number of connections for the service during the past week.

- These data are straight off of Nintendo's Wi-Fi site, through the freeware program WFCStatus.

- A Top 75 was released by me three weeks ago. See it here for comparison.

Don't want this thread to go by without anybody giving you a response. I always glance through these charts every week. Thanks for putting them together.

Same here. I read every word of it every single week, and even look forward to the next chart, but I just don't know what to say about them.

I guess when more big Wii games get released (Mario kart, Animal Crossing, Smash Bros. etc) we'll have things to talk about.

Cheers for the Worms numbers :) I really fancy that game - some places have it for £20 and some for £30 at the moment though which is odd.

Worms 2 should be able to reach 20k this week.

I also see I forgot Tiger Woods 2008 for Nintendo DS. That game had 1,152 connections last week.

And then I noticed that an upcoming Wii-game had an awful lot of connections a few days ago. The code RNR had 8,809 connections thursday, most of these made during night-time, so it's most likely a japanese developer.
I only recall this once before, that was Bass Fishing Wii, which suddenly had a single day with 20k connections way before the date of release.

Hm, this is strange. Monday had an unordinary low number of connections and tuesday and wednesday it went even further down. 898k connections saturday down to around 577k connections wednesday, it seems.

Has anyone experienced problems with the service these last few days? It's a very sudden, great fall.
